Thank you all for the kind comments! I'm happy the mod shots helped! Moma and fifi hit the nail on the head! This was my first attempt. I don't want to make a mistake so I am going to sleep on it and mull this colorway over. And @momasaurus you are very correct after I got this one in I keep going back to look at the red/white one over and over. I didn't trust my instinct on my first attempt of Iris either and that took another attempt to fix . I may just have to take the trip to Houston but I want to wait until the little Baobobs come out and all the Zebres.

Another consideration is that I love Baobob so much, I may not be able to stop at one...and so I have to weigh that fact in to my decision as well....

Good idea! I would also wait to see others, even though this one is truly sensational. You never know whether you will fall more in love with another CW down the line. I so appreciate the mod shots! I’ve gone back to look them over a few times. This CW was always among my top 3 and you’ve definitely proven me right. But, like you, I don’t want to be definite about the first that I try on. I am also eagerly waiting the Baobab design. Can’t wait to see you style and share that one once you get it! Today I called my local H store to inquire about the new scarves before making the trip there because it’s so far, but they kept me on hold until I gave up. They’re so extremely unhelpful that last season I only purchased online and from 3 stores in other cities as well as from the airport (via a friend) UGH!

Wow, gorgeous! Your mod shots are making me re-evaluate all the colorways. Now I'm looking at either 05 (vibrant teals & blues, cooler tones) or 12 (muted greens & lavender, warmer tones). Or maybe even CW 10 (orange/pink/greens)? Feeling vibrant at this moment ...

Thankyou for sharing such comprehensive mod shots. The pattern in the top right corner looks fabulous in that C/W. I was also thinking of C/Ws 10 (more muted than yours) and 03 (the red seems to have a Chinoiserie feel to it) [emoji848]

We have zeroed in on the same three CWs, @Langsam! I hope to see them IRL, or see some mod shots here soon. Will everything suddenly explode on July 1st with the "official" release?

Somehow I think Baobob will be an easier and safer 1st pick. There are several colorways I know I can wear, and the trick with them will be limiting myself ideally down to one favorite (instead of the current 4!).

Yes- that I also keep going back to look at @Hat Trick 's CW12 mod shots. It's a very nice colorway. It's a complicated scarf, and deserves to be thought through carefully.

Cool! I've been buying online but these CWs are different enough from my usual "safe choices" that I want to try them in the boutique. A trip is in order after July 1 but I never have any idea what's going to be in at the boutique.

I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this, but please remove my post if I am.

I lust after the CSGM Mythiques Phoenix mentioned in my signature! I live nowhere near a boutique, and have bought all my H goodies either from H online, or resellers. H online is not showing the cw I want! If anyone could help me acquire my shawl, would you pm me?

Now back to your regular programming.....
