I'm open to try quite a few designs/cws.

Baobab Cat looks almost like a abstract when tied. The dark blue is lovely but I keep buying blue scarves. I also think of the old Dickens and Jones store (Regent's St. London) logo, a woman's face in a rose when I see it. A logo that absolutely fascinated me when I was little (see below on box) as I've always been very camp. It traded for 170 years but closed in 2005, I bought my first foundation there!

A Travers Champs
is a must for anyone who owns a house on a mountain and I love cw17 bright pink and red ad hope for great things but prefer the actual design in 19 and 20 (not loving the cream of cw20 border but perhaps it's because the model is wearing white).

Act III I've played Titania and Puck, and Linsey Kemp's version was one of my favourite ballets ever so I have to have this one. No cw sticks out yet though.

Edited to say missed La Serpentine which is sophisticated and fabulous, I always want to be sophisticated and fabulous but sadly my experience with these scarves has always been to admire on others and worry about the creasing on large expanses of plain colours but you never know, racing is in my blood.

Every time that I bought a scarf thinking “I dont like this one part but I’ll tie it so that part does not show” even if I loved the rest of the scarf... I ended up never loving it and I got rid of it. Too many fish in the sea to settle for something less than completely fabulous.

:ps: 100% no compromise with anything H

@yodaling1 you are amazing! What a great weekend treat to preview the scarves! Thank you!

I actually thought my wallet is safe but now doubting that as some of the CWs are pretty fabulous.

Question for all of you. Have you ever not liked a particular focal point of a scarf but like the way that it tied? And if so, do you purchase?

The practical side of me says to like it in its entirety but I am weak... [emoji23]
Yes I have! I'm not a huge fan of the tassels on the PdS and they are quite important in the design. They remind me, being European, of old fashioned interiors with heavy curtains. But I do wear this scarf with great pleasure. I have recently learned more about they signification in Japonese culture and mystical knots. So I'm even more happy to have bough it.

Do you have special designs in mind? For this season, I have some concerned about Acte III. Not sure if I enjoy the moon or the character with the donkey head. Nonetheless, I guess this scarf will look fantastic once tied. There are a lot of differents patterns which make it interesting, the curtain of the front for instance. I will have to check myself !

OT: the illustrator was Gruau. He used to draw all the Dior perfumes ads. He made it look so simple. Just a few strokes et voilà. Pure elegance at the end of a pencil. His drawings also used to fascinate me.

For me, it is the Appaloosa scarf. I can't stand the horses hoof, haha. But I adore the horse itself, and I still love that scarf. I am also not a big fan of the tassels on the Samourai scarf, but the design is fantastic. So these things don't bother me too much. There have been scarves I couldn't buy because of elements I didn't like, it depends on the design.

Thank you for this. So mid-century romantic, very pleased I am not the only admirer.

First the Casandre scarf of this season  and now refs to Gruau, splendid!

Soul mates in mutual appreciation of (commercial) art :drinks:

Thank you for all the nice notes. I appreciate it. Will see if I can get more as I feel H is in the midst of updating and I am not having a very smooth process in finding more designs to share.

Some more updates: On A Summer Day will come in the 140 silk format and A Tresors Champs will be in CSGM. No pics to share as of yet.

Thank you so much Yodaling! (And OMG- they finally let her smile for once! Her sweater is a much more realistic representation of what people would wear with a scarf and perhaps they have finally taken some scarf tying tips from here on tpf and shown realistic ties....)

I like the new rendition of BdG bandana! Can't wait to see the Zebras and the mini Boabob 45!
Yes, I love her smile. She's very lovely, of course, but it made me smile to see her smiling... It's very natural and unforced.

So exciting to see a preview of some of the new designs! I am having a problem with the Boabcat scarf. I don’t like the graphic of the cat emerging from the flower so I intitally wrote if off completely, but now that I see it modeled, I think I’m going to love it for it ties beautifully! And the CWs are spectacular! It brings to mind my resistance to Appaloosa des Steppes. I hated that big horse with the staring eye and refused to consider it for the longest time.... until I tried it on and I immediately changed my mind... from hating the concept to absolutely loving it tied! I had a similar experience with Etude pour une Parure de Gala. I wasn’t excited at all by the graphic display of jewelry items in a boring composition IMO. Then, I tried it on and totally changed my mind, largely because of the exquisite CWs, particularly the ballerina pink that I finally purchased. Another is Tous les Bateaux du Monde. I wasn’t excited by the central boats en parade at all and totally dismissed it. Then I saw it tied and focused on the magnificent monochromatic borders and fell in love. It always happens to me that I focus on the central element of the design and if I hate it, I dismiss it. But, either a spectacular CW, or borders or corners win me over at the end. What scarves are you hating, loving and considering this season?
