I live in Chicago as well but grew up in Detroit, and if he met her there, who knows, may be a boredom thing. It isn't the most happening place to find things to do (sorry Motown, I still love you).

I feel you on the lack thereof stuff to do. After being in a long term he's having fun. Best way to get over someone is by being with somebody else for about 3 to 6 months til the ghosts start to creep in.

By the way, I love Motown too and Detroit just for that, forever ever!

Henry seems to have a penchant for dating women who hurt people and hurt/kill animals.

1. Ellen was a horse abuser.
2. Gina fought people for a living.
3. Marisa kills animals and poses with their corpses while smiling.

What's his problem?

Does he not have access to normal women?

He's too cute to have to dig the bottom of the barrel for girlfriends. :p

Maybe it's a case of opposites attract? Or maybe Henry isn't the nice, sweet guy everyone thinks he is? :shrugs:
I'm actually more surprised by the 180 he's done with his personal life. He's usually pretty private, but that seems to have changed since he began dating this Marisa person and hanging out with these maven people.

Well, from what I'm seeing it's not Henry who isn't private. It's the people he hangs out with who aren't.

I'm not even sure Marisa is an actual girlfriend.

You're right. Henry hasn't said a word through all of this. But he has to know what his friends and girlfriend are doing on social media. There's no way he wouldn't know. And the fact he has chosen to remain involved with these people, knowing they're blabbing about him on their social media accounts shows he couldn't care less about his privacy anymore.

What makes you think she isn't his gf? It seems pretty obvious that she is. Her family admitted they were together, plus the pictures of them from El Paso, thanksgiving and their vacation.

True that, this in a way reminds me of Ben and JLo, remember Bennifer? People lost their minds when they got together and thankfully there was no Twitter and Facebook was student only then. I remember Ben defending JLo in a Vanity Fair interview, saying how she's only been with x number of guys (can't remember the number). I'd be livid if I had a finance have to tell folks that in public. It had to be terrible for JLo because so many people( his fans) hated that he was with her and engaged. The paps and media hounded them until he broke it off. Then he fell off the radar and married Jennifer Garner who has only been "respectably" married once. Meanwhile, his best friend marries a bartender from a nightclub. I bet if Henry and Ben weren't close before, I bet they are now, he ought to have a lot of insight to share with Henry. Ben knows to well how love can blow up in face and implode a movie career, I don't think he will ever live down Gigli.

I agree the pic of them arm and arm in a mall is gf-bf. She's young enough to take time with and not rush to get married or have kids. She's into fit lifestyle, a female jock. She doesn't dress sleazy, too young to have a career or real roots yet so she can travel with him or start a business or work with him in his new co. Looks like she might be a good non-Hollywood fit. The pics are unfortunate though. People keep saying he's handsome but dull, maybe he can't tolerate the super pretty attention needing model actress types and this girl is more his speed and comfort zone. Maybe it's a piece of normal in his life or maybe that was the hope. It's not what a woman look like, it's how she makes the man feel about himself. Like most men he will want a woman to marry one day that will stay with him, if she happens to be drop dead pretty, great, but that's not the norm or the priority, in my opinion and observation. Best he continue to lay low and let this bruhaha pass.

Those pictures don't really scream she's his girlfriend, but I'm sure she's telling people she's dating him.

If anything, they're a holiday fling.
