I love the panther collection too!

Thought I might of found a ring last night but it was a very nice knockoff.

Sorry for the late replay, but thank you:).

I've been to the Cartier boutique today (in Brussels) and tried on the one in yellow gold (without diamonds). It was bigger than I'd exspected, but I liked it a lot.

We'll probably purchase it around May next year, as it would be a gift from my boyfriend for our 3 year anniversary.

It is a stunning range for sure! I remember the gold one with emerald eyes was around £5kish about 1 year ago so Cartier have marched on with the price increases :sweatdrop:

Does anyone know whether there will be an increase before summer next year?

Do Cartier have regular price increases (like Chanel), or is it more each 3 years or so?

Oh, and at which finger would you guys prefer this ring, my boyfriend and I thought the ring finger, but I'd also tried it on the middle finger as it is quite big.

I like the huge open head one on the middle finger and the curved body one that wraps around on the third finger. I love Rachel Zoe's but I'd be afraid of bonking one of my kids by accident! The one that fits me best is the one with the body that curves around the finger. I visit it often at Cartier. One day....

^ I have the all diamond version of this. It's very wearable compared to other panthers in this collection because it's delicate. Not too much of a "statement" piece- even the all diamond version.

It's "in the shop" right now because the onyx nose fell off. I really don't know how or where. :shrugs: Anyway, it's due back next Saturday. I can post a pic if anyone's interested AND I haven't gone into labor by then. :smile1: (I'm expecting any day now.)

BTW, kat99, how did you get the link of the close-up panther? I tried to link the pic of my panther, but I seem to be having trouble with the Cartier site. It keeps redirecting me to the "new" website and then I get nothing. :confused1:

I LOVE that ring, you are so lucky to have it! I haven't even been able to try it on, the size they had in the London boutique was like a 47? and I couldn't get it on.

Would love to see a picture! I had a friend who has the larger panthere solid gold ring and they said one of the eyes fell out, I guess these pieces are just a little more delicate?

I'm not sure how to link the picture - I just went to jewelry- collections/panthere and then filtered on rings and found it. Congrats on the coming baby arrival! :yahoo:
