you ladies are wonderful! i think I am going to get the Choo today. I will let you know, thanks for alll your help! I still haven't heard if anyone had problems w/any Choo bags re: the leather or hardware. Any insights?

I will look for the old blog and find what comments people had. Keep in mind there were only a few negative comments, and the overwhelming majority recommended the Choo bags!!! I would go for it!

All 3 are great. One word on the Choo--- I have a Tulita from two years ago and I've maybe carried it 10 times or less, and the hardware around where the handle meets the bag came unglued! So, I'm not completely sold on the quality. The Edith is awesome, but if you need to be able to carry it on your shoulder, you should definitely keep that in mind. Good luck!

The same member also wrote this when I asked about the leather:

It's OK. It's hard to really say since I've hardly used the bag. But, the leather is rather stiff. I much prefer the leather on some other bags.

And another member wrote this:

I love the Choo bag, however, I just received the large tote version of that bag in navy and realized that the leather, while gorgeous and buttery soft, will get scratched up very easily. The style of this bag does not lend itself to a distressed look, so I will probably send the bag back.

Hope this helps! But remember, in the end- if you love it then go for it! I am still undecided but think the Choo bags this season are GORGEOUS!

My two cents on those comments. :) The leather on the Ramona is different than the old bags, it's even different from other Theola bags. It's very soft and nice, and (I hate this word) buttery, not plastic-y/stiff at all. I was playing with one of the other bags in Saks (the white satchel that Jessica Simpson has.. the name escapes me but it has the single row of grommets and the top sort of folds over) and I didn't like the leather on that one at all. As far as scratches... I think we were all worried that it would scratch easily. I've had my Ramona for a whopping total of two weeks and although that's nothing, I figured I'd have some marks by now. The leather is still perfect, no marks at all. I haven't especially babied it although I am obviously careful with it. I'm thinking this leather might be the perfect combination of soft yet sturdy.

Daisy- that is a relief to hear because I have been really torn over the Choo hobo, the Chloe Edith (I have one on order) and the Tod's D Media- the comments I cited above really worried me about the Choo bags! Needless to say, I am so relieved to hear that the Choo bags are such a good quality! Thanks for the feedback!!! Now I am even more tor- decisions decisions!!!

Enjoy it, Talveira! I'm so in love with this bag. Admittedly, I'm a total "it" bag girl (although no Balenciaga or Fendi Spy for me)... but this one is more classic than most of the bags I fall for. I put it away and carried something else today and I missed it like crazy!
