hello everyone! i know this is an old post...but is there anyway to "buff " this out using any type of lotions etc? this happened to me to but its discontinued now and the bag is older now.....im in toronto and i took it to a repair shop and they could replace th handles for 500 dollars!!

This is an interesting topic because I realized the same happening to my handles from my Rivoli PM when I wore it constantly crossbody during a vacation last September and it was hot weather. The handles on the side of my body were rubbing against the canvas of the bag and the surface of the leather rubbed off a bit. Now I only wear the handle upright and not down crossbody to avoid it getting worse but I like the look more when they are down…
