It is official! I now own my first Hermes! I made my decision and purchased a Massai gm gold camel pre-loved and a steal. The girl purchased it in February total $4875.68 and she sold to me because she needed to pay bills for $2900 When I received it in the mail it was just as if it came from the store. Orange box, bag ribbon, ect. I have been carrying it eversince and I love it. It is like a piece of art to me. I will do a reveal when I get back from the Kentucky Derby. Thank you all for your help and advice. I am already saving for a classic

Oh yes the Lindy 26 sounds like a great bag! Do you know the price? and is the rouge casaque is versatile enough to be wear everyday? do you find it easily at the H boutique?

Sorry I didn't see this! I carry my RC lindy everyday and it is def versatile enough since I wear mostly black/grey/tan/white and the occasional leopard print scarf to work every day. Lindys are easier to find than other bags (Read: B, K or Constance) but pop colors like RC are pretty popular. I don't know the price in the US. I think it's in the mid $6K.

For a First Hermès bag i would take a jean bleu lambskin Clou De Selle (685euro), a garden party(1350EURO) or a Herbag 31 (1470euro) they are really nice and not expensive.
