Hey ladies! Need some help as I’m clearing my bag collection since I’m moving house. Which would you keep or remove from the collection below? Ideally I plan to only keep 4-5. I have two more Garden Parties and a Constance To Go but I will keep those for baby/travel bags just because I don’t freak out as much when I use them

1) Swift Beton B25 GHW.
2) Togo Black B25 GHW.
3) Chevre Etoupe HSS B25 GHW.
4) Tadelakt Etoupe Mini Kelly GHW.
5) Clemence Black L26 GHW.
6) Swift Nata Mini Lindy PHW.
7) Chevre Chocolate K25 GHW.
8) Ostrich Blue Indigo C18 RGHW.
9) Evercolor Rose Poupre C18 PHW.
10) Novillo Etoupe GP30 PHW.

Oh my beautiful collection! And very hard to pick between. I would keep 2,3,4,6,7 and 8. Haha, i couldn’t narrow it down any further. What color is your Constance to go? That may change my vote for keeping the mini Kelly. I’m torn between the mini lindy and the 26 because I prefer clemence for durability but you mentioned baby so crossbody is always better with the mini.

I personally get overwhelmed if my bags are sitting unused. I like to use them. I recently downsized my collection from over 30 to 10 and it feels amazing. I don’t feel overwhelmed but excited to pick a bag now. I kept the ones I loved and have added a few special ones too. I’m a big fan of purging what you’re not using. But we’re all different! I can see why she may want to downsize a few especially if she feels nervous using some of the special ones

I do agree with this as well especially since some of these are hard to replace. The bags I sold were mostly Chanel and not Hermes. (In reference to my post above). You’ll have to pry my special h bags from me when I die

Thank you everyone for your comments! It’s exactly like what forgetmenot301 said. I need a bag purge because I don’t use my bags enough and I don’t want to just have them sit there, it makes me feel uneasy that I have so much stuff I don’t use! And don’t ask me why I buy them! I just can’t resist I don’t know why I feel this way but I do!

My Constance to go is etoupe with PHW. Currently I’m inclined to lose 2, 5, 6, 9, 10, and the Constance Togo.
Rationale mostly being these are the easier finds so if I want them again another day it’s easier to get back XD

I totally get it. I think we can easily get caught up in bags and the excitement. Some of us can have bags that sit and not feel overwhelmed while others it’s too much. I’m like you. I agree with your list except for number 2. When I had my first son I sold my Togo Kelly black 28 ghw because I felt I wouldn’t use it and we were moving as well. 5 years later I deeply deeply regret it. But go with your gut!

What bags do you wear? What colors are your wardrobe? Do you carry a lot in your bag? Do you prefer handheld or crossbody? Do you prefer an under the radar bag or a b/c/k? It’s really hard to say without those answers.

I would personally get rid of 1 or 6, 4 unless you have occasion to use a MK, 5, 6, 8 and possibly 10 depending on the color of the GPs being kept. I have no use for a CTG so that would go also. Black and a neutral are versatile enough for my wardrobe.

I would not sell any of these, but I do see a lot of etoupe, maybe cull one or two of those. In today’s market you may find it rather expensive to replace, but who know what the future holds. Good luck! I have never sold any H bag, so take my advice accordingly.

Those are all nice bags. Keep them all unless you need the money.
