Hi! I noticed a faint line or crack on my brand new palm springs mini today and I don't know if it's a defect or not? Could fellow owners of this bag let me know if you see anything similar on your bag please? Thank you so much in advance

It looks like an indentation, not a crack. Maybe from being pressed into shape to be sewn?? It is super tiny but if it's bothering you-return it. I think LV will totally disagree on the calling this a defect but you can still return or exchange. This would not bother me in the slightest. You need a magnifying glass to even see it. I guess I'm feeling like that because my standards for LV have gotten a little lower and I've seen way worse as far as quality control goes which is ridiculous in a way. SMH......

Is LV throwing in a magnifying glass with every purchase ?
I found this funny. I think Purseforum makes people more panic about imperfections of the bags. Don’t get me wrong, I like the forum and think it’s good community for people who love purses to share their passions. However, with all bag defects going around (or shared here), people start to microscopic checking their bags.

Thanks for your replies everyone! Appreciate you taking the time!

I went to the store today and they said it looks unusual, but if the line splits open or cracks down the road, they can replace for a new bag or exchange around 1 year. Since this bag is so hard to get and I really like it, I think I will keep it and hope for the best.

The funny thing is, I also bought a Saint Michel bag on the website which arrived today. And guess what, it has the exact same line along the edges of the base, between the sewing and the edge itself. This one I also showed to the SA and was told that they've never seen it before either and don't know why it's like that. I could go to a store to compare with another one but I think it's too much trouble. The Saint Michel I'm definitely going to return since the style doesn't appeal to me too much in person. Just fyi, the Saint Michel I got is made in Spain and the palm springs mini is made in France.
Photos of the Saint Michel in case anyone's interested in this bag. It's a very pretty shade of pink.

Thanks again!
