I tried on the two-tone Balloon Bleu the other day, and preferred the SS one. I would probably get it for Xmas this year. But at the moment, I'm obsessed with Rolex....

Yeah, I agree that the all SS color seems to flow more better than the two-toned one. I think the bezel part needs to be gold instead of SS, otherwise it looks a little "off". In this case, I'm voting for the two-toned Daytona since you want a little gold in your collection! ;)

Yes I do....I was initially thinking about getting the Tiffany yellow diamond ring, but mum hinted that she would get that for me as my wedding gift. Ill have to wait for the ring though, as we haven't even set a date yet...

Wow! Lucky girl!!! My mom would never buy me jewelry (she's too practical for that).

I've been saving and downsizing my wardrobe to save up for my next rolex! I've narrowed down to between the SS/YG daytona and SS Yachtmaster (with platinum bezel/dial), both 40mm, the price difference is around 4k.

I've always wanted a daytona in SS, but the waiting time is driving me crazy, and I'm now seriously thinking about settling for the two tone one. I currently have a Mid-size SS datejust in diamond/black dial, a 38mm white J12 with diamond markers, a 38mm white J12 with diamond markers, and a Cartier SS ladies Roadster.

I'm torn....Please help!!!:hugs:

I found some pictures of the two watches (from the Rolex Forum)....for your reference.

I asked my DH who is an 'antique' watch dealer he says the Yachtmaster is more elegant for a woman - hope that helps :smile1:
