Hi OBTM, I like Tiffany but I think you pay a lot for the name, (don't shoot me people, just MO,) don't get me wrong their pieces are undoubtedly gorgeous but you can get the same thing elsewhere for less money.

As you know I have the Love Bangle now and I am definately going to get the ring. Yes match, matchy but I intend to wear mine with a 2mm eternity ring either side of it so it won't be too matchy, matchy. IMO you will never regret the purchase of the love bangle, so with that in mind I would either get the ring and save the money for the bangle or just put it towards the bangle. These bangles are going skkkkkyy high in price, it's scary!! :smile1:

Thanks DP, I do agree with you about Tiffany - I love a lot of their pieces and have several in my collection but I shy away from buying diamond pieces from them normally (with the exception of my DBTY bracelet) as I do think you can get the same or better quality elsewhere, like you say.

The Love ring with an eternity ring stacked on either side together with your bangle would look GORGEOUS! I wear my rose gold Love ring with my platinum eternity band and love the look of them together. Can't wait to see photos when you get yours.

I think I am pretty much decided now - Bvlgari ring and save the rest towards the Love :D

Good choice and what a fabulous boss 😊

I have tried the pendant on in Tiffany's but not the ring (yet). The pendant was absolutely gorgeous and of course it is Tiffany's so you can't really go wrong, but I have never bought anything from Bvlgari before and know I would get a lot of wear out of a YG ring like this. The pendant is so pretty but I'm not sure whether it would be an everyday piece? :thinkin:

I vote for the ring. My friend has one and it's quite a nice, substantial piece.

Out of curiosity, how do u find the size of the Tiffany pendant? I love this piece too but when I saw it IRL, I thot it looks kinda small for the price. It seems like a lot of money for something so small. I didn't ask to try it on at the time. Do u find the size noticeable enough when worn?

Thanks hun, he really is :smile1: I ordered the Bvlgari ring today and it will arrive tomorrow - soooo excited! Pleased that I can still make a reasonably substantial contribution to my Love fund too, best of both worlds!

I would keep saving for the love bangle - this will put you much closer to your true love!

Thanks for your advice :smile1: I agree that putting all the money towards the bangle would have brought me a lot closer but I'm afraid I caved today and couldn't resist the temptation of the ring  I have wanted one for ages and there is a substantial price difference between a new one and the price I paid. At least this way I can still make a sizeable contribution to my Love fund too :graucho:

Thanks, I have now ordered the ring and am very excited :D Glad to hear your friend has one and it is so nice on. I think it will be perfect as an everyday piece.

The Tiffany pendant is really pretty - it is very small but the delicate design suits the size if you know what I mean? I don't think the design would translate as well if it was bigger. It looks lovely on and I think it is noticeable enough but I agree the price is high for something so small and delicate.

Oh dear, sorry to enable! ;) I know what you mean, I have been trying to cut down on my browsing of this forum as my wishlist otherwise seems to grow daily! Which piece are you tempted by, the ring? It is gorgeous! I have wanted one for ages so it seemed like fate when this turned up in my size (actually a size bigger but it is a wide ring and I would like the option of wearing it on my bigger middle finger if possible too).

Definitely the ring - am very excited to see your modelling pics! Since it is a preloved item, and is in your size, I think you made a very wise choice in getting it :roflmfao: I've been stalking preloved Cartier rings and find it so difficult to find it in the right price range and size! Did you manage to discover this piece at an antiques store (since you were able to try it on)?

It is hard to find preloved in the right size and for the right price isn't it! I lucked out with my Cartier Trinity ring and found it from a jeweller on Ebay (also had it authenticated on here). Which Cartier ring are you looking for?

I actually bought my Bvlgari ring from a dealer in central London, recommended to me by another lovely TPF'r who bought a Cartier Love bangle from them :smile1: Unfortunately I couldn't go and try it on first as the actual store is a bit awkward to get to from where I live, so I did a telephone order. I knew the size would be fine as I was recommended to go one to two sizes bigger than normal for this style by a friend of mine who has the same ring, as it is so wide - in fact it actually fits perfectly on the finger so I'm glad I didn't go for my normal size.

Here is my beautiful new to me Bvlgari B.Zero 1 ring, I LOVE it! :yahoo: It is even nicer in the flesh and has so much presence on the finger. I think it will look great with a YG Cartier Love too, as when I get it I am planning to wear it on the same side. Please excuse my dry hands and lack of manicure!
