Help Me Pick the Right Wallet for My New Rhyder!

Which wallets goes best with my Workwear Rhyder?

  • Olive Gray Madison Clutch - not a match but it makes a pretty fall combo - and it is brand new!

  • Black Bleecker - it's not pebbled; but it has the horse & carriage logo and tattersall lining!

  • Mahogany Needlepoint Clutch - not a match but also a fall color, and it is lightweight and Rhyder is

  • Use whichever wallet you like, you shouldn't worry about matching it to your bag!

I'm leaning toward the needlepoint clutch because it looks like the only one of the three with silver hardware. If the hardware on the middle one is silver (it's hard to tell on my monitor) I'd go with that one, but if it's gold, for me, it would clash too much.

It's gold hardware; I have a gray wallet with silver hardware but it is patent leather and doesn't go with this bag at all!

Katev~~
I love your new Work Wear Rhyder!!!
BEAUTIFUL Bag!!! Congrats to you!!!!

I am a wallet Nut so I would probably just buy a new wallet to match the bag! LOL I think your Black Bleeker wallet looks the best!!

Also like your new Olive Double Zip Wristlet wallet!!!

Congrats again on the new wallet and bag!!!

Lynne :D

Thanks everybody, it looks like the black Bleecker is the winner but I've just remembered another contender!

I have a burnt orange Tory Burch Audra Zip Continental Wallet that I picked up at the thrift store for $3 quite awhile ago and rehabbed. See the pics below. It came out well but I don't think I have ever carried it. It has gold hardware but there's not a lot of hardware on it.

I will have to pull it out and see how it looks, but it might just work with the Rhyder. If not, I will use the Black Bleecker - that was my very first Coach wallet!

I bet this one will look great!

You know, I think it just might be the right choice! The leather has a textured or wrinkled (distressed) surface and that might go well with the pebbled leather and suede - and the edgy look of the Rhyder. Now I just have to find it!

I am one of those geeks that likes to pair my wallet to my bag. It doesn't always have to match but I like it to be complimentary. My new Workwear Rhyder is difficult because it has black pebbled leather, rust suede, and burnished nickel hardware - and I don't have any wallets like that!

I went though my (rather extensive) collection of wallets and I have picked out the 3 possibilities shown below. Please vote for your favorite to help me decide, thanks!
#2 will look the best, but be harder to find since it's the same color
#1 - like the style best, plus I like a contrast

So I'm going to say #1. You can carry it as a wristlet if you wanna run in the store real quick and not want to mess with bringing your bag in. That's what I do sometimes. So yep #1 lol.

I say put whatever you want inside that bag! I have been using the same croc embossed Peach Rose double zip phone wallet for over a year and half, and it matches with only some of my bags. I say with a dark interior, you need to be able to see the wallet to grab it . :D
