I am one of those geeks that likes to pair my wallet to my bag. It doesn't always have to match but I like it to be complimentary. My new Workwear Rhyder is difficult because it has black pebbled leather, rust suede, and burnished nickel hardware - and I don't have any wallets like that!

I went though my (rather extensive) collection of wallets and I have picked out the 3 possibilities shown below. Please vote for your favorite to help me decide, thanks!

What color is the inside of the bag?

I'm leaning toward the needlepoint clutch because it looks like the only one of the three with silver hardware. If the hardware on the middle one is silver (it's hard to tell on my monitor) I'd go with that one, but if it's gold, for me, it would clash too much.

Black Bleecker. Is it pink inside? I think a blue or turquoise wallet would look striking against the black and rust, and be easier to find inside.

The bleecker wallet is 41549 B4 KL which is brass and coal and it has a teal lining with Tattersall fabric.

Now that I think about it I also have this same wallet in Ink, which is a dark shade of blue. I agree that a blue or turquoise wallet would be striking but I don't have one of those (yet!)

Ink is supposed to be navy but everyone I've asked thinks it is black. I still think the coal bleecker is the best.

I haven't switched wallets in over a year. I have a gunmetal saffiano soft wallet that goes with everything.

Thanks! Here are side by side pics of the ink and coal wallets at the link below, and ink is a lighter shade of black, might be a dark navy.

I switch wallets all the time - to match my bags!

In that post you say ink is definitely blue.

Yeah, I just looked at the wallet next to black and it is a dark, dark blue not black, my mistake
