Second one! Not being able to resize it is an issue, but with BlueNile you could always just return it and ask for another size!
Whiteflash is a well-known, established, and trusted online jeweler. Go to the pricescope (free forum for diamond enthusiasts) website and check out the feedback and discussions from customers. I bought from both BlueNile and Whiteflash, and prefer Whiteflash over BlueNile in quality and customer service. I paid Bluenile using my credit card, and Whiteflash via bank wire (for a good discount).never heard of whiteflash, so far liking what I am seeing with them
Yes, check out Whiteflash's website for more styles of rings that are under $1,600 but with much better cut diamonds than your choice #2 from BlueNile.never heard of whiteflash, so far liking what I am seeing with them
I like the 5-stone ring, because it is simple, elegant, and more expensive looking (bigger stones are worth more than dust-like diamond bits).
If I were you, I would make sure that the diamonds are superbly cut. I am not sure about the cut quality of BlueNile, and doubt that they are specially cut to near perfection. I suggest that you look into getting the 5-stone ring from Whiteflash (see link). Description: "Dazzling shared prong diamond wedding band set with five Whiteflash ACA diamond melee (Color: F/G, Clarity: VS). Width: 3.2mm tapering to 2.4mm." ACA is top cut, perfect hearts & arrows diamonds that sparkle madly. Its list price is only $2995. If you pay by bank wire, you get a 3% discount. Mention that you are a pricescope member, you may get up to 5% discount (or more?).
