thanks bagaday! I originally wanted the YG but Bulgari doesn't offer a chain of this same thickness in an 18 or 20 inch length in the YG just for something different, the longer ones are significantly thicker and I think approximately $3k!! the rose gold was gorgeous and the cost of the pendant included the chain cost as well. The SA said it's because the RG is new this year and they decided to make a longer chain in the same thickness as the 16 inch and price the pendant and chain together- whereas the YG pendant and chain are sold separate.

Oh, I see! With a longer, thicker chain, you could wear the pendant outside your outfit in the winnter....perhaps! Congrats again on your everyday RG pendant. Your dad is so sweet!!!!;)

that is true! this is the only longer chain that they had that was bulgari it was so thick that it took up half of the space of the pendant opening! just too thick for my taste:smile1:

Looks gorgeous itself. I understand what you mean. I love a dainty look chain, too. But, to wear a solid, heavier pendant top, you need a thick chain. You can enjoy, say, a Love Collection pendant top with this chain.;) I enjoy wearing some of my Tiffany charms as pendant top instead of bracelet charm. Generally they are heavy and I use a thick chain.:D

I would love to see pictures! I'm normally a "dainty" chain sorta girl so I went with the thinner chain. I love when people wear big statement necklaces, but I prefer my statement on my finger or wrist!:D
