As limom said speedy empreinte is gorgeous. I think the Alma is also a beautiful classic addition to your collection. I would stay clear from Gucci and im not the biggest fan of the ysl logo... do you like Dior? Or an Hermes Evelyne? Sometimes you can evelyne at a good price preloved and the style is definitely timeless

Do you find the empreinte over time wears away as it becomes less defined? Always wondered if it would disappear totally eventually.
@Staci_W Have you made a choice yet? Like you, I’ve always loved the Alma but my life is so casual I think a Speedy would go better. Either way you really can’t go wrong...it will be a timeless and durable classic.
If you’re thinking of the Speedy and want shoulder/crossbody wear, get a used bandoliere version, or if that’s over budget, get the classic and just hook a longer strap to the handles. I’m considering getting a vintage mini Speedy and doing this.
