Yup, before this new mini tank was released I was trying to hunt down a vintage one on the pre-loved market, but they are extremely rare and priced accordingly. Even now, most of the vintage mini tanks you’ll find on Chrono24 and other legit sites are priced the same or more than the new one, and of course they’re quite scratched and show wear from decades of use. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing; it adds to the charm for some, and some prefer the mechanical winding movement some of the previous iterations possess.Thank you! I came across a vintage mini tank from the ‘80s last year that was in great condition and had original box and papers and was $4k; I wish I had bought it then, but I passed. Prices for this model on the pre-loved market have increased this year and I’m definitely not paying $7k+ for a vintage one this year, though; I’d rather just go with a brand new one!
I like the small tank. Classic and doesn’t look dated. Not trendy. It’ll weather the bigger then smaller trends well.
I did!! I decided on the mini tank to match my partner's tank that I got him as well. It was such a tough decision but ultimately I felt it was special to match him for our wedding sentiments.@cmln were you able to make a decision? Just curious if “Santa”brought you one of these for Christmas, if you celebrate, or if you are still deciding!
I really wanted something comfortable and minimal; would love to have the bangle one day but it was pretty heavy and I'm not sure I'd get used to wearing it. It's heavier than the love bracelet which took some getting used to.

I haven’t pulled the trigger on either yet, thank you for asking! I’m trying very hard to be a responsible adult and cut back on my luxury spending 😅 but I do still plan to get the mini tank, hopefully this spring! 🤞
Are you and your partner wearing your watches yet, or are you waiting until the wedding to exchange them? Maybe your photographer can get a pic of your matching wrists together! 😍
I'm prob in the minority but I like the mini baignoire leather on you. the oval is both timeless but different but you will never go wrong with a tank.

He started wearing his already... I'm a bit nervous to wear it. It's my first nice watch and I haven't figured out the logistics yet. I usually go for a workout after work, do people just remove their watch and put it in their bag?
Also it's winter here and my wrists have been covered so I don't have the urge to wear it yet lol!
Do you happen to know whether you can get different leather straps for the mini tank so you can change out the black one for variety? I'm looking at the mini tank myself but don't have an AD nearby. Thanks!
Yes, they said you can! SA showed me some options; seemed like burgundy, green and blue were popular in Korea. She said people tend to get blue to match the color of the sapphire crown.
I like the Baignoire bangle best, but of the leather strap watches for sure small tank is #1 and baignoire is next. They both look a very well proportioned for your wrist and can be casual or dressy. The mini tank looks very “mini” on you which looks dressy. It’s also probably much harder to read the time.
