I would agree with this.

I love the idea of the Baignoire mini bangle watch. Every time you look at the watch you can measure how much your beautiful daughter has grown, with every sec the watch becomes more meaningful
Agree with this! Though the JUC is a close second, I wouldn’t recommend wearing it on the other wrist (I mean I wouldn’t recommend wearing it with the watch). Congrats and best wishes! I am so happy for you @war_bunny15 🥂

@Swanky thank you so much for it input. I think another concern of mine regarding the JUC is that I see so many people wearing it! The place where I live, seems like it's one of the most popular piece of jewellery. I worry that I'll lose the appeal and avoid wearing the bracelet, just to avoid the cookie cutter aesthetics. I have to admit, it is stunning and really chic looking. Also very easy to put on and off.
And I've adored it for years. Such a hard choice!
Watch - I know it's not of everyone's taste, but I definitely do wear a watch everytime I go out.

Baignoire mini bangle watch! It looks stunning on you - and from what I understand it’s pretty hard to get, so it should hold its value well. Better than the JUC. As you are a watch over a bracelet girl, I think you will get more use out of it. Plus, you can probably get it engraved too such as with your daughters birthdate. I love it!

Understood!
I’m in a very affluent area but we’re SOOOOO casual around here, I’ve never seen anyone wearing it. I’m surrounded by Rolls, Bentleys, pro athletes and I never see Cartier, VCA, etc lol

So I can only speak for what I reach for

I also put on a watch, this one is just not my personal aesthetic.

Do you suggest I hold out and buy a more 'classic' watch aesthetic like the Panthere in YG? I might need to wait a long time for that. It's also literally priced 2x of that Mini Baignoire.

Thanks so much. That's such a lovely idea!!

I agree with everyone who says get what you truly want the most! Because there is no way to guarantee that your daughter will have the same taste or like any of these pieces from an aesthetic perspective by the time you are ready to pass them down; she will like any of them because she associates them with you and your personal style and remembers seeing you wear them over the years.

That being said, I, too, am a watch girl and would 100% choose the baignoire bangle. It is beautiful, unique, but classic, and perfectly straddles the line between jewelry and timepieces … it’s both at the same time! It’s also different from your Rolex so it feels like a nice addition to your collection.

Personally I’m not a huge fan of the JUC or Panthere watch … I feel like they’re everywhere and the baignoire bangle is less trendy and more unique, at least for now. Good luck making your decision and congratulations on this wonderful milestone! 🤗

Congratulations! I would say go with what makes your heart sing.
Also consider: If the price of the JUC or the watch goes up, which one will you regret not buying most?
If the price of the JUC with diamonds does increase, will you be satisfied getting the regular JUC without diamonds? If yes, then maybe the watch.
Another option may be to get the regular JUC bracelet with no diamonds and perhaps use the price difference towards a tennis bracelet?

I would not consider the newborn’s stage in my decision as it is just a phase that will pass😊

Just an idea. You can get the Trinity pendant or chained Trinity bracelet as well as the cord Trinity bracelet to gift her when she is her pre-teens for a 13th birthday or bat mitzvah etc.

Thank you for your lovely suggestions. Unfortunately I don't wear chains at all. And I'm looking to buy something in solid gold, that has a bit of a weight to it. My budget is also a bit generous this time around as it's a big milestone so why not go big 😅😬

I think i will regret not getting a watch, because prior to this I was totally priced out of buying Panthere in YG. I now find Panthere to be easy to secure in the preloved market. But Baignoire is a kind of watch you want to buy brand new due to it's smooth shiny gold and I wouldn't want a scratched up watch. I don't plan on stacking it, so it works out well I think. Thanks a lot for your help!

I love every bit of your advice! I have a tank from Cartier in stainless steel which was my first watch and now a rolex. A gold watch might complement my collection perfectly. 🌸🥳
