I think it depends! Do you like more structure or not? Cause vegetable tan leather like the black one will hold its structure up better in the long run, whereas the blue will end up slouching over time (I've just read this from those who have had both lady bags). I personally like the lady bag with structure, but I do love the blue color on the lady!
As they also mentioned before me, if you don't mind scratches, then black would be a good option! HTH!
