If I get it I will be sure to post lots of pics. I am so very undecided. If I had a boutique to go to I think this decision would be much easier. Have you thought about going in to try it on?

Thank you for the suggestion. I've heard that he makes a good setting but also read threads where people said the diamonds didn't face up as well as the Tiffany ones because they weren't cut as shallow as the ones Tiffany uses. I actually have a DBTY style necklace from Blue Nile that I like a lot but just doesn't give me the wow feeling that Tiffany does. So this time I think I'd like to go with Tiffany if I choose that style.
I haven't tried on the Cartier piece, but can tell you that I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Tiffany DBTY. It sparkles like crazy and it's only .14 and it also shows up in pictures even those that aren't that close up. It's really become a part of me, I only take it off once a week to clean it, and even when it's dirty it's fiery and shoots color.

Yes, I went to a boutique and tried it on (the wg version) and realised I like more the one with one diamond ring. The chain is prettier and shines more, plus the diamonds[emoji76] but then the price tag is almost double [emoji53] So, still undecided. Unfortunately I didn't make modelling pictures. But here is a comparison picture (unfortunately quality is not so good, on this picture I'm afraid you can't really see the difference)

I prefer the DBTY, I think it would go with everything and I don't really like how the links on the love necklaces don't lie flat. Plus a lot of other brands have similar interlinking circle necklaces, I know at least tiffany and david yurman make them.

I think I know what you mean. As I said earlier, I have another brand dbty and it just doesn't have the fire that I associate with Tiffany diamonds. I'm glad you are able to wear it all the time. The delicacy of the chain was somewhat a concern of mine.
In my google searching I noticed that the chains were different but thought I was just seeing different angles. The diamond version is truly special. Thankfully, what I like about the design is the screw design from the iconic bracelet so I don't have your tough decision. Thank you for the photo.

I should have mentioned this earlier, but I have versions of both the necklaces I am choosing from different brands. They are from a time when the Tiffany DBTY and the Cartier Love were not attainable and I still love them both.

I think what is making me have such a hard time deciding is that I really think I would love to have both eventually. It almost seems silly to get either since I already have similar necklaces but they are HG pieces that I have loved for years. The practical thing might be to get the DBTY first since it is most versatile...but I hear that Cartier has some tough price increases. Hopefully I can get out to Tiffany soon. If it puts the other necklace out of my mind when I try it on then it will be decided.
i have a cartier dldc (sim to dbty) that used to get 24-7 wear... now i have a cartier orchid that is size wise closer to the Love you are looking at. i dont wear the dldc anymore because i like the larger size and presence of the orchid... and I got DSS my personal op is to get the love and upgrade your blue nile diamond (i think BN has an upgrade policy for single stones??) ....and then layer them!
