Help me decide on a necklace

Hi jewelry lovers! It's been a while. I have been saving for a necklace that I will keep as a staple piece. Will you please help me decide? I love both and think of both of them as classic pieces that, while replicated often, can not be easily matched in quality.

Cartier Love necklace

Tiffany Diamond By the Yard 0.24 carats (similar price point to the DBTY)

They're both great necklaces, but personally I would go for the DBTY. It's sych a great necklace to wear alone or to layer it with another necklace. But honestly, this is a tough choice as both of these are classic and elegant.

The layering aspect definitely gives the DBTY an advantage. I appreciate your point of view as I LOVE the pieces you select. I am going to see what size DBTY I can get for my budget and if it has enough visual impact for me.

I was trying on the Cartier the other day and it's much smaller than I had expected [emoji21]

I love how it doesn't lay flat and has a constantly changing look. The fact that the DBTY is a diamond is really what might sway me...but will it be big enough?
