Just received the Damier Peach Neverfull. For context, my most used and probably my favourite daily tote bag is Neonoe in mono (along with Gucci Rajah tote in grey and Prada Galleria in Talc i.e white grey). I want to add a carefree summer bag. I want to add a Neverfull in a limited edition print without big LV logos… shame the by the pool coral Neverfull would had been perfect had it not been for the big logo in the centre. With careful consideration, I have settled on Damier Peach Neverfull. However, I am in two minds about it. It is a tad on the white side rather than peach for my liking. However, I really like the pink, peach and yellow combination and the pouch is very pretty. Any opinion or advise will be very very helpful. Also, self confession here, I am being influenced by how unpopular this collection has been amongst the LV lovers or bag lovers. I could not find a single unboxing of this bag on YouTube. Really appreciate your honest thoughts. Thank you in advance!
I think it’s a gorgeous NF!! I have been loving the large damier prints from LV these days, and this NF reminds me of endless summer nights, keeping cool with ice cream or sherbet outside, swimming, all good things 💛

Just because a bag doesn’t seem popular, it only matters if you love it (if you can decide if you do - it can be hard for this kind of $$ to not dither a bit sometimes!!😀). I tend to buy bags that not as many others do at times (I actually like that, I don’t usually see my bags out in the wild), and one of my favorites was the first NF I bought - the Giant mono in lavender and bright pink with an orange base. They didn’t make as many in that cw. The lavender side was regular mono and that’s the side I usually carry facing out as I’m not a giant mono fan. I still love it and use it. Usually though I like LE and summer collections as they are different, and I usually don’t rehome those. All that to say, if you love it go for it! Popularity only matters if you plan to use a bit and then rehome. But sometimes LE holds value really well.

I’m no help on the patina as most of my LV has no vachetta, I like their new treated vachetta better. But I do recall some sprays, according to people here in the know, actually do slow patina if that’s your goal. There’s probably a thread around for just that question - I am sometimes sheerly amazed at all of the collective knowledge here on tpf!!!

Good luck on your decision, but I vote yes! I think it looks great on your shoulder. And I love the tiny damier on the pouch! 🧡💛🧡

So kind thank you. Wow…your neverfull sounds amazing. Please post the pics!

You are absolutely right about loving it! I do like it…not sure if I love it! LV does on of the best Limited editions I regret returning the Fornasetti on the go! I think I will visit Selfridges to see BTP in real life and choose between mine and the BTP version.

People have voted neck to neck for yes and no!

Depends on how frequently you buy and sell your bags, it’s a very pretty bag to keep and enjoy if someone buys bags not intend to resell, if resell in mind, then it may not be a safe choice, it’s either very few want it or can be sold at above retail, also it is not a well known print, so maybe too understated if you want others know it’s a LV bag.

I think the bag is beautiful and appreciate reading all the helpful replies you have received! Maybe keep it, enjoy it, see how you feel in the future, and then perhaps sell the bag and keep the pouch? Good luck deciding, and please keep us posted! :flowers:

A little update….I went to Selfridges and compared my Damierlicious NF with the BTP version. I preferred mine, mainly because of the big LV logo on BTP. Also Damier print looked kinda polished in comparison. I can imagine wearing this bag even in winter….except for the painful straps!!!

As I was trialling the NF today, I noticed my shoulders are SORE now at the end of the day. The straps are tough and dig in. The only extra thing I carried today was a cardigan. I carry similar amount (sans the cardigan) in my Neonoe and it’s my most comfortable and light bag. The NF felt as heavy and more uncomfortable than my relatively heavy Prada Galleria tote…at least Prada has top handles!

Has anyone else experienced the same? How can this 5ne bag that everyone raves about if it is so uncomfortable to carry? Any advise…please! May be it’s my small shoulders and the thin straps!

It’s the easiest to use bag and I have no issues with the straps, but our lifestyle maybe different, I typically carries an iPad and some small accessories to gym and back, sometimes do a bit grocery shopping on the way.

If you found difficulty with this bag and walk longer distance with heavier stuff, maybe a backpack would be easier.

I carry roughly similar amount as you! iPad, sunglasses, compact umbrella, minipochette, phone and AirPods!

I think narrow shoulders and what you're wearing definitely have to do with it. I'd love an NF one day, but my Longchamp le pliage used to hurt my shoulders after lugging it around, and they slipped easily off my shoulders. It was easier when I wore blazers or coats with padded/thick shoulders. And I find the Prada Galleria heavy, too, even when empty!

You could always try a wallet if the print comes in that, or if you're willing to risk losing some money, keeping the pouch part of the NF if you buy it and sell the NF itself?

Hi all!

Okay…thank you for helping me decide! I have taken her out on 2 trial runs now…and despite the shoulder discomfort, light yellow interior and vachetta…I am falling in love with her! She is not the most convenient bag for me. Personally the Neo Noe and Prada Galleria, despite the weight, are super convenient because both have top handle and some organisation. However, I am almost falling in love with her! It’s like walking with a best mate! Think I am going bag cuckoo 😝 Have never experienced this before, even with my Chanels!

Now, she is not going anywhere! I am going to invest in a liner and a NF shoulder pad! Has anyone used a shoulder pad in the pic below.
