Thanks everyone. After careful consideration, I decided to go with the frog. The eye is too creepy and the last thing I want to see is a creepy piece of jewellery around my girlfriend’s neck. Anyway, to answer the questions: Evil eye is £1,300 and available from Links of London. Frog is £1,025 from Fameo London. The only problem with the frog, it's a necklace, which costs just as much. Not sure if it's worth it.

How is this an option? First of all you link to some jewellery re-seller and the last thing I would do is to shop there, because I will always go directly to the jeweller's website. Second of all - "call for price"? Is this a joke? And finally - have you seen what jewellery I was talking about? High-end designer branded fine jewellery. Granted, not from Boucheron or Van Cleef, but LOL and Fameo is a fairly decent brand and at half price of jewellery houses. So, how can you possibly think that this commercial stuff would be of any interest? My girlfriend would probably throw it in my face...:roflmfao:

Hey there!
Let me get this straight: you come on a forum, ask for opinions, and when somebody is kind enough to take some time and look around for you you laugh in her face and flash your cash. :woohoo:

I didn' ask to "look around" nor did I asked for the advertsing of some online shops. I am pretty much capable of using Google myself.

As for the rest of your flame which include words like flash, cash and laugh, -- have a break, have a kit0-kat

To the OP: I hardly know where to begin. The site belongs to a vendor that sells only high-end designer jewelry. Evidently, you did not recognize the names of the designers. Many of these designers do not wanted prices listed on internet sites. This is a common practice with some of the more expensive pieces. You said you wanted something extravagant and sweet. The pieces you chose, IMO, may have been extravagant to you, but were not what I would consider sweet. If I received such a necklace, I would not wear it. I attempted to show you some timeless pieces, but these did not suit you. That is fine. Your response was classless and I'm not surprised that classic pieces are not in your frame of reference.

A link to the fine jewelry on Fameo's website:

I think it speaks for itself...

I am sorry if my reply inlsulted you in any way. As for the jewellery you posted links too, I am also sorry, but this are very common designs ( you may call it classic) and definitely not unique. Timeless? Sure. (Add another few cts of diamonds there and it will be "priceless" ) Add just for you to know, "Hearts on Fire" is not a name of the designer - it's a marketing gimmick ( in a way) and have nothing to do with the jewellery design. (Something like Signity's loup to see a star in the diamond. ) Bottom line, I didn'y ask for it, or did I? And if I wanted classic design and value, I will probably get loose stone from Muticolour or Cherry Pick and ask to set it into classic mount.
