Help me choose- Capucines vs Coussin

I found it heavy and the flap was kind of annoying to get stuff in and out. I also found after awhile it will lose its shape. I’m probably in the minority with my opinion of the capucines. I like my Coussin and get tons of compliments on it..
I have had both, I still have and love Capucines, it is more classic, elegant, unique LV, and more hard wearing, the one I have had for several years and still brand new, I can Wear it to my 90s😄
I wondered about that flap! Good to know. Also a good tip about losing its shape.
May I ask what size was it and from which year? The early years Capucines were indeed getting slouchy very fast, especially the larger sizes, just like a Birkin, but a few years after (I guess many clients had the same complaint), they made some structural changes, and getting rid of the GM size also might proved to be a good tactic.
Personally I really liked those early Capucines, gave them character. But these new era BBs and Minis feel so rigid.
I have the Capucines BB and love it very much. For me it's a classic while the Coussin is a short-lived style.
My Capucines holds its shape very well and looks like new after 3 years. The two bags are not to compare, the design is so different!
But maybe for someone the Coussin is more a younger style - I personally don't like it, sorry.

I have both and love them both. My vote would go to the Capucines in the BB. The PM and MM are too big and heavy and heard that they will lose shape with time. The mini is toooo small and wont fit the bigger phones
I have been thinking about the flap as well, that is something that will probably bother me.
I was looking at PM size as I find BB to be too small. I see what you mean about it being heavy
I can’t remember as I had bought preloved but it was in excellent condition. I remember seeing preloved capucines that were slouchy in the corners and losing their shape. I’m guessing I had the earlier version before the change…I really dont check them out anymore as they aren’t on my radar although I’d buy it preloved …
@BULL did state above they had changed the design so maybe they are better now? i usually don’t do well with bags that have a top flap like that, they always annoy me and don’t seem very functional. I loved the reverse trunk clutch bag but the top flap was so annoying I sold it…
Really depends on your lifestyle. I have had 3 Capucines, including PM and BB and x3 Coussins—MM and PM. Capucines is beautiful and timeless for sure but agree that PM is quite heavy. BB a bit more practical for crossbody and handheld. And Capucines is more subtle with the branding.
The Coussin is ultra flexible as both a day/work bag and evening look. I use my MM to carry the 12.9 ipad pro and the PM for a more casual experience/shopping. Even though it’s lambskin, it’s quite durable, particularly in the darker colors; the separate compartments are fantastic. I also love the two strap options. Both are wonderful bags with many colors/leathers but I tend to use my Capucines for more formal occasions and Coussin as a grab and go bag.

I love some of the limited coussin colours - so pretty. I think coussin is a lovely, everyday day sporty looking bag- if you have a more business like image it might not be the bag for you. Be careful using the strap on capucines if you get one where the strap clips on the inside. Used mine 3 times and the strap clips gouged up the leather so now have a damaged $10 000 bag- not happy. If you choose capucines there are new models where the strap clips are on the outside.
Capucines was not on my radar until my CA showed me the mm, bb, and mini last weekend. Seeing and handling them irl has put the Capucines high on my wishlist now. Stunning bags, the leather is incredible quality. Personally, i do not care for the Coussin, would choose Capucines!
