Personally I wouldn't go for LV (although I am a big fan). The Eva is imo too flashy for during the day and the Favorite doesn't say anything. I find those little LV bags not worth the money. I own a Pochette NM and I thought I would use it all the time as a crossbody, but I just find it too small for during the day. It's ok for running a quick errand, or as a clutch in the evening.
I own a Longchamp Roseau Croco crossbody and I like this one very much, just big enough for during the day and tastefull during the night. It is so understated and pretty. Their Foulonne line is also nice and there is also an nice crossbody there. Maybe you should have another look at them ? I'll try to find some pics for you.
