I’m looking for a new summer bag and have narrowed it down to these two: Pochette Coussin and New Wave Multipochette. I’m having trouble deciding which one of the two to get!
My criteria is for it to be compact and light, carefree, and in the color black.
Pochette Coussin - this is so beautiful but I’m afraid the lambskin will be high-maintenance (easily scuffed, especially corners, accidental scratches by nails, etc.). Also, as I usually wear sleeveless dresses in the summer, I’m not sure if the chain strap will dig into my shoulder. (This might be a non-issue as the bag is not large enough to hold a lot to become too heavy.)
New Wave MP - also beautiful! I like that there are two ways of wearing it (fabric strap for sportier look, or chain strap for dressier occasions). With that being said, my style is on the dressier side so I don’t know if I can pull off the fabric strap for everyday outfits...? I also am not a fan of the coin purse on the strap, so I most likely wouldn’t even wear it there. I do have the New Wave chain bag and also the New Wave camera bag, both of which I absolutely adore. So should I get another bag in the same line or is it time to venture out?!

I had a chance to pop into my LV store and try on the Multipochette Empreinte yesterday. What do y’all think?!
I’m not really a “Multipochette girl” (i.e. too fashion forward for me... I’m more classic/elegant), hence me not liking the coin purse on the New Wave Multipochette.
If I choose the MP empreinte, I most likely would not really wear the two pouches together. I would either just carry the large or the small one depending on my needs for that day. With that being said, is the bag too “boring” with just one of the pouches? I find there’s not much “design” to the pouches, just a simple zipper closure. Compared to the Pochette Cuisson that has a flap, and the New Wave MP that has the gold hardware logo. I do really like the two straps of the MP Empreinte though.
Any advice or input please would be great!!

I know what you mean about not wearing both together, but it looks really good. Plus, you can wear them separately while alternating each strap. I don’t think they are boring, especially with the chain strap. I came so close to getting this one, but actually got the Felicie in black empreinte leather. I plan to get extra straps for it too
I love how people are customizing their own straps and chunky chains with bags now.Ultimately it is up to you, and whichever bag brings you joy, and is useful. Luckily, you can’t go wrong with any of your choices
Both options are not my favorite, sorry. I will choose Coussin if I have to. But I will definitely choose empreinte MP. I am in a dilema now because I already have canvas MP, but really like the leather version. Good luck on deciding.
