Hi everyone!
It's nice to be united in adoration of 36" square beautiful pieces of silk!:smile1:

I was hoping to draw on the collective knowledge of those here and see if you could help me out - I have 3 scarves that I need more info on:

One is called Salt Marsh and was designed by a student from Savannah College of Art and Design. She won a SCAD contest and they made 600 scarves (200 each of 3 colorways) in the classic 36" silk twill. This one is in the brown colorway. It's a beautiful scarf, but I never see it for sale. I have it with its original box, paperwork and printed materials. Any idea if it's worth more than a regular carre?

Another I got on sale - so sadly it has that S on it, and it's cream - so it's a noticeable S though small and not too dark. The scarf was made to commemorate the opening of Hermes' Madison Avenue store. It's incredibly detailed and has a lot of American/New York references, but there's a big model of the Hermes Store in the middle - so parts of it are lovely but it's kinda a collectors thing, I think. And collectors don't like "S". Does it have any value?

The third is a chiffon version of Les Prairies - it's GORGEOUS. But confusing. It isn't a regular sized scarf - it's 2 of the 36" squares printed on one double length of chiffon with a white border between the two but nor around the edges. I have no idea if that makes sense. I am wondering if it is a printing mistake (the edges are perfectly rolled and stitched) or of they every so often make a double. Anyone know? And any idea what the 36"x74" scarf is worth?

Info greatly appreciated.
And any info leading to the purchase of Zoe's Sarasvati is also greatly appreciated. I LOVE that scarf!

Thanks, I'll read through tomorrow - I was 99% sure any response would be along the "you posted wrong" lines, especially ones that came minutes after I tried the post. Thanks again for sending the link. But still if anybody can be of help, even if my placement of this is off, that would be appreciated. :)

That thread is where the real scarf gurus "hang" that's all. So it's more likely to be seen there. There's nothing wrong with the post or the placement per se.
