Help! if I should return the 35 etoupe birkin PHW ?

I agree with those who say if you can afford it, keep it. Birkins are difficult to find, and etoupe is a very desirable color. You can always " dress up" etoupe with almost any scarf or twillies to get a more colorful look. I would also agree with sharing it with your mother and both of you enjoying a very special bag!

i don't believe that colours have an age - ie that some colours are more "mature" than others...- it really depends on the person carrying it. however if you love bright colours, then etoupe isn't, so return it.

The ONE Hermes bag I have is etoupe, and I have been thrilled at how versatile it is. My teenage daughter borrows it, so I'd have to agree with Chincac that it's the wearer, not the color of the bag, that sets the age-tone of the overall look.

Definitely keep the Etoupe. I don't think it has an age. I got mine in my late twenties and at first it felt "old" to me too but you'll be shocked at how versatile it is. Meanwhile I've been waiting for a red birkin for years as well (similar to the other posters) but my SA has called me multiple times about many other birkins/kellys which I ended up purchasing but all the while still dreaming about the elusive red. If I don't get the new Rouge Casaque color this year then I'm going to do an SO for the red.

To me, rouge garance seems so much more nicer! It's a lot more energetic and is less mature in my point of view!
