Oh, what a shame! Honestly, please do wear them. They are (literally) made to be worn. I've been wearing my two scarves lately and feeling really good about how I look. Today I got caught in the rain and my Flora Graeca got wet, but I just checked to see if it sustained any damage, and it looks just fine -- I can't even tell it got rained on.
You may or may not have seen this thread asking whether H scarves are sturdier than others.
http://forum.purseblog.com/hermes/are-h-scarves-sturdier-than-other-scarves-286155.html The majority of posters seemed to think the answer is yes. Plus, Nancy ****** dragged her Hermes scarf collection all across the Middle East. (See this interesting column from the Washington Post's Pulitzer-Prize-winning fashion commentator, Robin Givhan.

But if you're really uncomfortable about wearing them, what about the idea of displaying them somehow? My understanding is that framing them may cause some damage, but there's probably a thread somewhere in this forum that talks about other methods of display (damn the problems with the search function!).
