I've also been coveting the cape cod for a year or so and I LOVE the White Chanel ceramic. I own a cartier tank and love it, but that's the first watch I've worn in years, so I, too, am trying to find the perfect watch.

I was in duty free in Germany Sunday and the great salesperson did tell me that the Hermes H watch catches on clothes, not sure if you were considering that one, but that immediately turned me off because I am a spaz and would for sure be snagging it on sweaters or anything.

I love the J12 but fear that, for the price, I would hate it in one year when it's out of style. Not that you couldn't revive it in a few years, though. Also, how does that J12 hold up? It looks like it would not hold up well. I wish I could find a similar, cute J12 for $400 and satisfy my need for it and be done with it!

Enough of my rambling, I say the cape cod double strap for sure (lizard brown rocks, orange is fun, and the basic brown is a good every day...they do have a white leather strap but not sure of the filth factor on that one?)

Most importantly, have you seen the Cape Cod Deux Zones? I love it the best...check it out! That is probably the one I will buy, not sure ladies or mens. It looks like the have "ladies, medium and mens" as sizes...so medium might do the trick.

OK, I haven't had my coffee yet. Just noticed you were debating about the Kelly.

I saw Cape Cod Tour double strap for sure...I like the face better than the Kelly...not so much silver (I do have the Cartier tank and am not a silver lover, so it might just be me).

Whatever you do...FOR SURE the double strap...it is unique and everyone I've seen (not many people actually) wearing it looks fabulous.

Definitelly check out the deux time zone...

   Yours is heaven! Methinks I want the same, 33mm (small wrists and hands!) without markers. :girlsigh:

Awww. Thank you, I do love my J12 , but also remember that 33mm is Quartz=battery operated (which is a plus for me) and 38mm is Automatic = which eventually you'll need a watch winder if you dont wear it daily.

Thanks for all of your info! I like the regular Cape Code over the Deux Zones, and I think that at some point I will get an Hermes double tour (cape cod or kelly II) at some point, but I'm really really enamored with the J12.

I don't think the J12 will be over in a year, it was introduced in 2000 and has been popular since. It's like Balenciaga bags, people thought they were just trendy when they hit their peak in 05, but they came out in 2001 to a lot of popularity and they're still super popular.

HI! I really like J12, too, and did post a thread couple days ago about getting the J12 white 33mm either with diamond markers or without it. I also look at Hermes watches, but I know that I have crush on J12 . I look at Hermes even rolex to make sure I am making the right decision. I also have a hard time purchasing J12 because of the price. It is very difficult to purchase a ceramics watch for $4000. If I would purchase J12, I would purchase the one with diamond markers $5150, I feel like the diamonds makes the watch more valuble. It is just my justification for spending this much on the fashion watch. The price will increase on June in honolulu, I think I will make my desicion before that. What a decision! Please let us know what you decide to buy.
