help! Gucci Sylvie White or YSL Medium college

I only saw and handled it in the store, the leather didn't feel fragile to me, but it didn't seem like a bag where you would want to put a lot in, as the shape might really suffer, I have the college bag in large with silver tone hardware (would have preferred the just black, but it wasn't in) and I totally love it. To me it is more practical, the leather feels better and it really goes with everything. It's a bag I can see myself carrying in 5 or 10 years.

Sorry that I replied to you and the OP, but I only checked the black Sylvie out, I would think the white one needs to be treated extremely careful, as you would really see every scruff and scratch, it really depends, I don't tend to baby my bags, if you are very careful with it and it is an occasion bag (I think you want the white one), go for it, it just ties you a bit more and the fact that they have the colours, as I said, doesn't work for me, but we all want something different, the Sylvie is a beautiful bag, no doubt about it, again for me I wouldn't get the wear out of it I need, your style might be different.

I know you said you don’t use the bag very often. Do you find the leather to be durable? I watched a review on YouTube and she mentioned that the leather is fragile and it is not an everyday bag. (I’m thinking about the larger size)

The leather is stiff so I can't imagine that it would be fragile. It is very stiff. But definitely not an everyday bag. It just isn't that practical.
