I am also going to go against the crowds here and vote for the mini Trapeze. I actually own a small black Antigona and a mini Trapeze in souris, and I reach for the Trapeze much more frequently (I don't have a Fendi 2jours, so I won't comment).

You mentioned you want to be hands-free, but I find the shoulder strap on the small Antigona uncomfortable to wear, and I rarely ever put it on my shoulder. The strap is quite short, so the handles get in the way of reaching into the bag and dig into your armpit. You certainly will have a hard time wearing it on your shoulder if you are wearing a coat. The Trapeze is much easier to wear on your shoulder and hangs at a good level if you're not too tall (I am 5'2", and I think the mini is a perfect size). It is, however, a bit fussier to get into the Trapeze, given that it is a flap.

As far as trendiness goes, I think both the Antigona and Trapeze are having moments right now, and I highly doubt that either one of them won't look a bit dated in 5 years time. All that being said, they're both beautiful and elegant bags. If I were you, I would pick whichever initially attracted you. You will probably keep thinking about it if you don't get it.

thanks this is extremely helpful. i was wondering about ease of use for the antigona cuz ppl seem to be just carrying in the nook of their arm instead of on their shoulder. i sold my celine luggage for that reason. leaning towards fendi vs trapeze now!

oh no.. i've been bit by the love bug again. LV was one of those brands i was always against buying but now LV alma bb crossbody is also in the running!

1. Fendi 2Jours Petite in navy
2. Celine Trapeze mini in black or souris
3. LV Alma BB in rose vernis or black epi

Fendi followed by the Antigona. I love Givenchy generally and adore the Antigona personally, but it's starting to irk me how trendy it's suddenly become. I know I shouldn't let stuff like that influence me, but I can't help but prefer bags that aren't too common. Hopefully the Antigona trend will go away soon, and I'll be able to appreciate/love it the way I used to do.

Anyway, the Fendi has been really growing on me of late :)

Don't buy an Alma. They are pretty but really a PITA to get into/carry. At least that's my 2 cents.

and prada saffianos evvverrywwhherree!

LV bag, nahh not sure on the patent, the handles are placed too high up and it does look like a mini bag!

Thanks so much to everyone who responded! I've been wracking my brain about this for weeks and in one day TPFers come to the rescue!:)

I will have to see these IRL but feel my heart is set on the fendi!

Lastly tho let me know if you have thoughts on:

Navy or black?
Initials AEK or just AK?

Xx

Black is more timeless but I like both colors, TBH. Maybe A.K. ? :) When I see "AK" I think "Alaska". :D
