I wouldn't go for the wallet, I'd go for the bag you'll love. And, perhaps that's waiting just a little while longer and saving up a little for an LV bag.

I have a lot of designer bags and zero designer wallets. Wallets don't enhance my outfits - handbags do. I've read on TPF that bags also hold their value better. And a bag is a fashion statement and conversation piece. Not so much for a wallet. I don't miss wallets at all -I just pick a good inexpensive leather one and go.

One thing to also think about, I don't mind changing my bags daily. I would pull my hair out having to change my wallet.

I'd go for the LV wallet because it will hold it's value way better and could be used as a small clutch. I find my wallets get a lot of use because they get tossed from bag to bag a lot.

Agree! I just got mine after saving for two years and living simpler life [emoji6]

But my other suggestion is perhaps considering Longchamp bag. My favorite is le liage neo, simply because they have silver hardware (im a sucker for SHW [emoji16]). They are affordable and super durable and also versatile. You can pull it in any occasion from the rainy day till the meeting in-laws [emoji16].
I'm waiting for my very first LV in the mail. I agree to go with the bag and maybe get preloved instead of a wallet to start with. :-)

Throwing another consideration into the ring: I dunno how often and by how much MJ applies price increases, but I know that LV price increases are usually in late autumn AND early spring, and they are painful (sometimes in the hundreds of dollars for one item!).

You alone know what you need (or desire) more urgently; apart from that criterium, I´d buy whichever item is more "under threat" of a price increase in the short-term future  GLD!
