Help! Cracking Canvas On My 2-Yr Old Toiletry Pouch 26!

I just noticed that all four upper corners of my beloved TP 26 are cracking! I purchased it approx. 2 years ago from LV and I use it daily. Is this a known issue with the toiletry pouches? I was under the impression that LV's toiletry pouches were relatively issue-free. I know that LV won't repair cracked canvas, and I'm concerned that I won't be able to get a replacement since I purchased it more than a year ago. Has anyone else experienced cracking canvas on their toiletry pouch? I'm not really sure what to do. I don't want to bother my SA about it if there's nothing that LV can do for me.

You should definitely bring it in for the staff to take a look. If it's in great condition, you might get an exchange even if the bag/pouch is older than one year.

I would take it in and have LV take a look at it. It's one thing to show natural wear and tear after 2 years of constant use, but cracking makes me raise an eyebrow, especially if the rest of piece is in overall great condition.

I know this is old, but this happened to TWO of mine in the same era... one I got in early 2016, noticed canvas cracking in various areas within the year, especially the raw edges outside the stitching along the zipper, they gave me a refund in June of 2017 and I wait listed for another which I believe I got a handful of months later and within the year I saw the exact same thing happen... I can't attribute it to any storage issues although I keep wondering if its my fault but none of my other LV pieces had problems, this was the newest item I owned, always live in humid areas and use some minor things to make sure there's no moisture impact, and also careful to not dry out... that timeframe was hectic for me I was in the process of moving to Hawaii full time right after I got the new one, left a bunch of things at our mainland home but I think I brought this one with me the first run.. then shortly thereafter it was COVID, finally brought it to LV once things opened up again and they wouldn't do anything... I still want to talk to someone more about it because clearly there was an issue with the lot of canvas used on these during that time that also correlates to why they were so difficult to get at the time prior to being completely phased out. They need to own up to their issues, nothing is perfect, things go wrong and you need to take care of your customer. I remember getting the new one thinking oh good seems much better, softer, and very soon thereafter it was stiff as a board again, a friend of mine has one from a slightly different time and hers is very soft and supple, again I would store next to 20 other LV's and not a single other one experienced something like this. Just at a loss...
