I have a pair in YG and pair in pave WG, i notice the difference in weight, but not when they are on the ear. I do not sleep in VCA earrings, but used to sleep in diamond studs. For everyday wear, i think now (since i received WG pave Frivole) i could wear them everyday and they are bling)))

Why did you get longer posts for your earrings? Is it more secure? I wonder if I should request them too
It feels that with longer posts it is more secure, i also have closure very tight, but i have small and thin earlobes. You can wear your beautiful earrings for a while and i'm sure you will know if you need to change original posts for longer ones or to tighten the closure. It is very easy to change the posts and i had it done without extra charges.
They look gorgeous on you! Keep them, and they are definitely every day earrings. They are so whimsical, very casual. Floral jewelry is very casual to me, goes great with jeans and very youthful. It's the VCA price tag gives it the illusion it's a formal piece. I plan to get your exact earrings in a couple of months when I can get to a VCA, only I will get them in WG. And I plan to wear the earrings with my matching frivole ring all the time, with jeans.

All of those earrings look gorgeous on you! The pave will be wonderful to have, but for me, the pave would be for dressier occasions and the solid gold for everyday. Many people here have both.
I do not sleep or shower in fine jewelry because I want it to stay in excellent condition. Not to mention, soap scum will eventually dull the appearance of diamonds. I consider VCA to be heirloom jewelry and I want another generation or two to enjoy them after me, so I take good care of my jewelry. That said, earrings with this kind of back would not be comfortable 24/7. If I wear them during the day or evening, I take them off when I get home. My ears need the break.

Congrats on your purchase! Love the pave on you. The Omega backs are secured for everyday wear. But i have mine SO with la pousette backs with longer posts as the claps are visible on my ears when worn. I usually take off my earrings off at the end of the day. I will feel uneasy sleeping in frivole as i will be worried abt stretching my ear lobes. I can sleep with diamonds studs on though.
