They made a larger version 11423. The bottle green is muted and dark. Personally I love the color but at times it looks gray. These have an oval bottom. The braided strap is gorgeous and I love the lining. I have two bags from this collection and the quality is amazing.

The classic duffle is huge and only has one tiny pocket. It is a black hole. On me, it looks ridiculous because the round bottom makes it stick out a mile from my body. Look at the depth measurement compared to the others. If I were going to get one of these, I would think about getting vintage because some of the leathers on the classics aren't the best. The other thing you should consider is that the strap on this isn't very long.

The Legacy duffle (from 2012) came in a large size and in lots of beautiful colors. It has a rectangular bottom so it fits flatter against your body. This is a great bag. The only problem with it is that the corners tend to show wear.

I haven't seen the current Bleeckers in person. The colors look pretty. Even on these, the oval bottom seems to stick out too far for me.

Keep in mind that all of these are north south styles so it may be hard to get to the stuff in the bottom of your bag.

Yes, I agree about the classic duffle...I really wanted to love it, esp. since I got it at great price at outlet, but the round bottom and "black hole" as you said, kept me from keeping it. I wish it had worked.

Also, the old Bleecker duffles were awesome, and I wish I had snatched up a bunch when they were at the outlets waaayyy back when..(yes, I've been on here that long!:p)

I like the new Bleecker duffle, though, and hope to get one of these in the near future...I think the workmanship is better.

So I have decided that I am going for a LEGACY DUFFLE IN LEATHER. will check my outlet and eBay.

I googled and the colors I like the most are the burgundy (deep port), emerald green (love!) and the marine (sorta purplish!?!), what do you guys think??? Which one :) ?

it is the olive moss 17998 classic duffle. i found it at the outlet last year on clearance for $104. the one on the right is the current bleecker in olive fatigue - it has the advantage of interior lining and several pockets. I still have the tags on the bleecker because I know i don't need to green duffles... but just can let go :-)

i like the duffles, including the legacy 2012 ones, a lot (understatement). i use pouches and wristlets to organize all my things - i don't carry any loose items, and so i don't have an issue with the big dark hole. also, when i don't have many items in the bag, i love how it just slumps nicely.

the navy classic duffle is still on the coach retails site but i have seen it at many outlets at 50% off. this is what happened with the olive moss. i am biding my time and think the mahogany classic duffle will be heading to the outlets or FOS sometme soon. i am sure the olive moss will follow soon after.
