HELP! Advice Needed to pick out my 2nd Rolex

Having a hard time deciding between the two: 36mm Datejust stainless steel with black dial. One with the classic illuminate stick marker; One with numeric/diamond marker. Please see picture below. And I do plan to pass this one down to one of my boys.

I have a 26mm two tone lady's datejust with diamond marker mop dial.

Which one do you vote? Thanks a lot!

What's the condition and vintage of each? Both brand new? They're both beautiful.

Aesthetically, the diamond marker one is more feminine, to me, if that makes a difference to you.

I vote for the one to the left, with the classic stick markers. If you plan to eventually pass it down to one of your boys, I think it's a style that would suit a man well.

Thanks chessmont! That's exactly my dilemma. I like both but I do prefer the one with diamond markers for myself. My SA suggested to get what I like because I'll wear it a long time before pass it down.

Well, that's a good point especially if your boys are pretty young.

Yes they are little boys now. On that note maybe I should get a white gold version...

If they are that small, then you'll be wearing it for years so you should buy what you would enjoy. If 20 or 30 years go by, you might even decide to give it to a future DIL, though you probably should make sure you really like her lol!

I would get the stick dial. I love the classic look. Don't worry about it looking too masculine, except for the deep sea, there is no Rolex out there that doesn't look good on a ladies' wrist

Not a fan of Rolex so personally would go for another brand but out of the two I prefer the left hand one as I always prefer clean dials
