HELP:5'2" is a birkin 40 to big for me?

If you have other similar sized bags, then go for it. Use what you feel comfortable and suit your needs and budget.

I have had people ask me when I use my 40 asking me what size it is - you really get used to that.

=( as hard as it is, I think I have to pass on the birkin 40 huh? rather than being disappointed. aaa its just that sometimes I feel so hmmm "greedy" when I think bigger must be better! LOL. I'm probably going to give it a few more days or weeks, if a 35 happens to show up i'll take her. If not.. than i will settle for 40 (if its still available). Thanks for the post everyone. It really helped me think about before jumping in maybe making a decision I would regret! ^_^

Yes! 40cm would be wayyyy too big for 5'2. 30cm would be a great proportion for your height, and if you like your bags big like the current trend, a 35cm would be nice.

I don't use my 30cm that much because that bag is a bit too small. I guess I am like Goldilocks..40 cm too big, 30 cm too small, 35 cm just right.

Exactly how I feel! 30cm is just little bit too small for my taste and needs. 35cm is just right even in exotics.
