Thank you! Just put in my order for mini puzzle. I have Medium Puzzle. Been wanting a small but feel like size is close to a medium So a mini will have a more marked difference in size. Can't wait!
Nice to see all the love for sand here. Is it overkill to have it in both mini and small lol. The strap on the mini is way too long for me and then it occurred me that I could use the strap from my small on the mini. I have a hard time justifying the mini when it has such a long non adjustable strap, and I’m not into using other straps, as I think it takes away from such an expensive bag, especially for how small and light the mini already is at this price.
Hello, I have both a small and a mini and I haven't tried swapping the straps. I suppose you could but note that the hardware is a different size. I posted this pic in the Howl's thread earlier, might be handy for comparison. In short, would recommended to try in store to see you are happy with it first.

Edit to add: those square rings that connect the handles are also different sizes between small and mini.
Wow thank you for the comparison! The hardware does look quite a bit bigger. I’ll have to see how it looks if I can make into the store this weekend. Ideally I would really love to have one in a tricolor where the straps would match each other while still being different bags. I also saw that maybe the flamenco strap could work too and that bag’s been growing on me. That Howls feather strap is gorgeous!
Oh yes I’ve heard people suggest that.. Maybe I’ll check out some videos, but I’ve tried that on a couple other (cheap) straps and they were pretty ruined from the knotting. Plus, I don’t think I would enjoy the look of it and kind of feel like it would almost bring attention to how short I am Lol. I may just look into having it shortened by a cobbler if I don’t find any other straps I like with it. Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll still look at reviews about how those methods wear.
I guess a really tight braiding would likely irreversibly alter the strap’s appearance but some of the braiding I saw seems ok, a pic here for reference! I don’t think these call that much attention to the shortening
I'm so disappointed that my golden donut chain doesn't go with my small Puzzle. I have bought it for my Flamencos, but I tought that the chain will go also with my Puzzle. The clasp is so tiny.

Yes you’re right, thank you for the pics! These don’t look like bad options.. especially the second one. I’ll definitely consider doing something like this. I’ve pretty much decided I need a mini for everyday lol. The small is just way too big for my everyday needs, so I’ll need to choose a fix for the strap situation.
