Hi!

I mix my white and gold jewelry together. I think that the charms are light and thin however its very good quality!

I think you should get it! I love my gold A charm! The SA told me that the thin gold chain that is $70 for 16in and $90 for the 18in does tend to break easily. However they have a thicker chain that is around $190 that they recommend over the thin chain. And if you really want to splurge there is a beautiful by the yard necklace that is around $400 that Katherine Higel wore in 27 dress.

I hope it helps you. Please post your pics when you get it :D

Oh you are my hero for posting those pictures. I've seen pictures of celebrities wearing them but I have no idea how much everything is retouched or recolored with those. Now I'm really sold. I just have to decide on the chain but will probably end up getting on from my local jeweler (for ~70) that I know will not break. That by the yard bracelet is BEAUTIFUL and I am seriously going to add it to my birthday list. Is it a bangle or a chain with diamonds? You are soooo lucky for having a store near you. I just wish her website was more detailed and had more of her items on it. I really would not mind paying shipping if only I could actually SEE what she had. I'm calling my order in tomorrow and will post pictures as soon as I get it!

I FINALLY got my necklace in the mail and I LOVE it. Thank you to everyone who helped me decide! Here are the pictures I promised.

It arrived in a beautiful pink box with a gold bow

The charms are a nice buttery yellow

They are thick enough that I won't worry about breaking them but not heavy at all

Last but not least a modeling shot. I am wearing them on my own 16" rolo chain. The charms don't normally lay this way. Sometimes the flower is on top of the letter, sometimes the letter is on top of the flower...but I like that.

I had a GREAT experience ordering from HF. Her customer service rep was incredibly friendly and answered all of my questions in detail. I did have to pay sales tax because apparently her company headquarters is in WA, but it was all worth it. I only wish her website were more detailed.

Very very pretty. I had no clue about these charms until this thread and now I think I'm going to get one of the charity charms. Enjoy you're beautiful necklace!

Oh I'm so glad I could introduce you to them. I really had a great experience with her company and I'll bet you will too. Which charity charm are you going to get? Please post pictures when you do!

Its lovely NurseAnn, so pretty. Do they have smaller charms?

Thank you Tiffanystar! The alphabet charm is just about 1/2 an inch. My flower charm is about 1/4 of an inch. Most of her round charms are 1/2 an inch. I think that her paw print charm is 1/3 of an inch and that she also does a line of birthstone charms that are also smallish. I have heard that she has a ton more stuff in her store than is pictured on her website.

Oh, it's so pretty! I knew it would be but now I want one soo bad, lol. I hope I get one for my birthday. Less than a month, I better just tell DH exactly what I want since he obviously never picked up on the hints I've dropped, ha ha!

I'm so glad you got yours. It looks awesome on you. Enjoy!!!

I hope he gets you one! What would you get? Did you decide whether you would go with white or yellow gold? I don't know if my husband would ever have picked this particular necklace. He has good taste but my range is just wider than his.....that's what I tell myself at least. I actually bought this necklace with money that I got from closing my childhood birthday/toothfairy money savings account. I remember my mom making me open it when I was younger and being mad I couldn't spend it right away and her telling me that I'd appreciate it later (20 years later!). I guess I'll go thank her.

I haven't decided on yellow or white yet. I love the yellow in this necklace, but I'd like to see a pic of white too. I want the letter K and I really like the flower charm like you have, but I might get just the initial. Who knows, but I better decide soon huh, lol!

I love Helen Ficalora!! I too had her charms before they got really popular. When my first daughter was born 6 years ago, I got her initial and a star charm in white gold. Last year when my second daughter was born, I got her initial and a longer chain. I mix and match these all the time, but usually I will wear the two initials on the short chain and the star on a longer chain. I am at work now but I will post pics tonight if anyone is interested. Never been to any of her stores but their customer service is top notch!

Ooh that sounds like a great idea! Everyone keeps saying they've had her charms for a while. Do you mind telling me how you heard of her? I don't know anyone in Seattle who has. I'd love to see your necklaces! I really debated about WG vs YG but now that I have my necklace I'm pretty happy with my decision. I hope to add to it someday when I have kids too.

I'm so glad you got it and love it. I've had mine for years (yellow gold with two discs, each of my initials). It is my favorite everyday go to necklace. I think I first heard about the brand in In Style magazine years ago....
