I found one I liked on one world avenue, but I had to say I lived in Ontario, and have to figure out if I can find someone I know in Windsor to receive the bag. It's only bout n hour away to Canada for me.

Conrad arrived today! Definitely more broken-in than I had thought... The lining is pretty beat up, and it's missing two brass studs on the strap (I'm thinking I might replace them with funky post earrings--is that weird?)

But the leather is gorgeous, and it's SO slouchy I think the strap has actually stretched, which is fantastic. It fits me perfectly cross-body, and I think I'll really enjoy the smaller size these days. It's like a bigger RM MAC, and without the chain strap!

No pics today. Wiped out and back to the spins, so I'm taking a Xanax and watching tv.

OMG The Red Cross just advertised that in the event of a zombie apocalypse, all blood types will be needed, so please donate. Not kidding!! :lolots:

Gosh Jenni! Hope you feel better quickly! Look on etsy.com for the studs if you decide you dont like the earring posts. I found a replacement clip for my HH keyfob there & a clip for a HH feather Iskia clippy thing. Love etsy!

Here are the two that are still there... And then the holes. The backs are still protruding from inside the lining if that makes sense?

jenni - here are the studs I have from fixing the Emile. Conrad is missing somewhere in a bin in a dustbag. The posts are different than original HH studs. I need to find conrad for a size comparison and maybe find the back for these studs.

It's the one on the right.

Jenni, those are regular rivet back dome studs. The backs cannot be reused, because they lock together. Post earrings will look interesting but won't be strong enough to hold. Screw back rivets can be used for replacement purposes and do not require the special concave metal tool for application. You can pick them up at a saddle shop (on every corner in CO, right?). I had to open the lining to get the old backs out to do the fix on some minis on Havanas. Can you get the old backs OK ?

PS: Eye movement will make you dizzy so don't read, delegate !

The vertigo came back full force yesterday morning, so I had to cancel class and am back on the meds. It's such an awful feeling. At least the meclazine works on the nausea. Today's better!

Will look for the screw studs, because (thanks, Moth!!) those backs don't look like the posts I have. So your description makes perfect sense. I'll have to make a tiny cut in the lining to get access to the backs/put the new backs in, but the lining's a mess anyway :p It's definitely going to be my knock-around bag. Thanks for the info! I'll try our local saddle/tack shops. I think they may outnumber our Starbucks lol.
