That messenger looks a lot like my Silver Pearl. I heart big time! I hope they bring that one out in many colors and that it has the interior organization mine has. Yikes, it looks like I'm going to have to "pirate" away mucho dinero for this new style.
I have to admit I've grown to like my Silver Pearl more than my trophies. It sits right up next to my Beatrice Bags on the shelves.
I also like that red lady bag. I am a sucker for anything that profiles like a Kelly bag or Bowler.

Got my Magic Leaves scarf and I am happy with it.......goes great w/the Cromwell jacket that arrived as well.
Let's hope that these new scarves are of better quality than the Ave Maria ones......

you know, maybe I am crazy, but I really like the Ave Maria Day scarf. In fact, it is the only one that ever tempted me. Now I have to admit I have never touched another in real life, but it is so soft! Should I also admit that I dont wear scarves so I really bought it as possible wall art? I was thinking of stretching it on canvas and hanging it over my computer desk....
I agree-- did I read it was an OOAK? I wonder what else it came in... did the style have a name? and what year?
slegg, I too really like the Ave Maria scarves...I do see a little wonki-ness on the border stitching, but I really have no complaints, but I am not a real scarf expert whatsoever. I love the look and color palette of the day scarf. I think it would be gorgeous as wall art!
semi-ditto! I do like the new scarves (the pirates and the kitty print) but other than that I just want some regular HH items. I like their classic-ish style.
Yes, mine was a sample that never went into production. I don't think it was given a name. I call it "Silver Pearl" because it is patent antique silver. I think only one other - a KoKo?_ was made in the same leather. I've been told there were only two of my bags produced as samples - mine and a non-patent black. I guess that year HH was trying to decide if it wanted to produce it in a regular matte leather or a shiny one.
I believe Lulu's correct that Gingeybear's DD has the black one. I sure hope HH finally produces this one because it is perfect for all ages and, with the right leather, it could be unisex. You know we've been saying HH needs to do some stuff for our guys. I think this one would be a great choice. I would like to see the bag have the webbed strap included since that would be unisex, but have a couple other choices available for additional purchase. I like the heavy webbed strap when I have laptop and files and heavy gear in the bag, yet it is stylish enough that I would wear it to board meetings as a brief bag if it had a dressier leather strap that I could switch to when not carrying a huge load.
My bag measures 16"x12"x5", but it "lives" much bigger than that. Because the top zipper extends beyond the bag width, you can open the bag super-wide and pack it full. Then it had two outside pockets that are each about 12" wide & 9" high, so those are like a handbag-on-a-handbag.
RMC-- I would love to see yours go into production too! I love messenger/ crossbodies better than any other style. I've never seen a Beatrice IRL, but I love watching all the hotties rave over them and show them off. For a long time I chased the PM red beatrice. Never could catch her.
