At least I'll have my Euc Celina to distract me. But if S--- gets up there and just takes over, I might have to use the cuff as a weapon.

I need a week of naps but am trying to clean the damn house, weekend guests arrive tomorrow, 10 for dinner Saturday, 3 reports to write, on Sunday night after the weekend guests are gone we are going to a special birthday dinner for a friend and then the week starts all over again.

What can you stash in your Lorca?!
Going all-grey tonight. Euc Celina, Lead Lorca, grey shirt under cozy sweater. Nice bright tie-dyed scarf. But. Now you've got me thinking! The reading is at a non-drinking establishment (seriously... punch and cookies.) But I could bring in a little airplane bottle of Patron or something. Spike the punch.
But the Celina really is lovely. I think I'll double it up with the Olive Celina since my scarf has some dark greens in it.
ETA: Gurl, somethin's gotta give. I don't know how you do it!

got my replacement pp case - it's in much better shape! and was packed with the super cute snow patterned tissue. I gotta send them a ty email.

Giggles, crying, tearing my hair out. The one person I really don't want to ever have access to a mic will be there, copies of her manuscript ready to pass out to whoever is stupid enough to stand within 10 feet of her. Ugh. Most of it will be fun, former students, cheering them on. But there are a couple I'll just want to throw meringue pies at.

I'm excited about the Platinum Anaconda Celina (have we figured out if it's the same thing as Silver Anaconda?) It should arrive Wednesday. Harlequin Barrel Case and VCP Pomp also coming soon!! ^^ Pas moi. I wasn't really tempted by the Disney stuff, after first glance. The scarves, maybe, but I'm trying to pare down and fill "holes" with pieces I've always wanted, or sold and regret. Now, I'm tempted by the Lead clutch wallet and a couple more cuffs/carryalls/etc.

I think it's pewter anaconda. I too, would be interested in knowing if it's the same as the old silver anaconda. Be sure to grace us with pix when you get your new loot together!

Hey Ruby-Over-The-Mountains! No... not my Queendom. Someone answered my ISO on Bonanza!! (They WORK) I'll definitely post pics of the Pewter Anaconda Celina when it arrives. To me, in the pics, it looks like Silver Anaconda... I don't have anything in it left, but did have a Bowery at one point. I *may* be able to ascertain.

Sally! WHAT is a monte cristo? (Other than a batter-fried NOLA sandwich??) The reading wasn't quite as bad as I'd feared. My students did really well, and the poet I was terrified of actually cut herself short and spared us (aren't I nasty??). But someone snuck in
Someone who memorized his poems (which rhymed badly and were all about "being"... you know? Just "be" and "count your blessings" because "this is, like, life"). I almost had to stab myself in the eye with the prong on my Eucalyptus Celina buckle.

Oh yeah, baby. It's like some 70's bar lounge super-sweet coffee drink that tastes pretty darn good. If you put it in your Starbucks mug you have to forgo the sugared rim.

I LOVE it when DH makes me a large Blueberry Tea in a huge brandy snifter with a cinnamon stick to stir the amber colours together. It's my night time beverage of choice.
Ok - true confessions - I ordered a lead clutch wallet. HHthanksyou worked and I got 15% off plus free shipping. NOt a huge discount but whatevs - I decided I needed to see lead in person and that I would be disappointed if I didn't get one. So then a marmo carryall and celina snuck onto the checkout page all by themselves. I am a sucker for nice leather. I went through all the new offerings and asked myself - if this sold out and I missed it, would I be upset? So now I am sated.
I never heard back from Carlie about where she heard that info about new Havanas in March.
Don't forget - I live on the hippy-dippy BC bud west coast - there is, sadly, a lot of that kind of poetry.
