No problems with the straps since being replaced. I have been using it everyday for work and so far no problems. Keeping my fingers crossed...

Wow that's great news. I wonder what the LV doctor did differently so that the cracks/peels don't happen?!
Did your SA give you any insight into why it was happening with some straps and not others?
No explanation was given. I asked how to prevent it and I was told that it should not peel or crack at all no matter if I use it everyday or not.
I have had my Neverfull GM for 1 week and the handles are already peeing. I’m obviously going to return it but I can’t understand how a bag at this price point is doing this after being carried twice
