There is a perfect small size! If you consider prices for similar bags from other designers it is reasonably priced.

Agreed! Balenciaga handbags are relatively "affordable" comparing to other luxury brands. But they're catching up lol
The structured lines of this bag are gorgeous! love the colors especially the matte burgundy small and the black mini. It’s like balenciaga does sellier kelly. But, my ideal size is always in between two sizes. And, the shoulder straps seem too long even on a tall model. Wish companies would put the bags weight on the specs
But, they’re quite deep. The small size in womens is similar in size to a Kelly 32 but about 1.5 inches more in depth. In a rigid bag, not sure the measurements would work on me (I’m short, medium build) so it could look like a very stylish lunch box on a strap. I love the run way edition in light gray, but unless you are proportioned like the model. . . Plus, the mini is probably the best size for me, but I like the shape of the small better. . . I do love Balenciagas changing hardware, the small ones, the oversized ones, the covered ones, the flat ones, there is something for everyone. Though this is a big departure. If someone had posed a question of what an A line bag from the brand looked like to someone not too familiar with Balenciaga might have picked that A line silhouette from Akris, not something rigide. So excited! I cannot wait to see modeling shoots in TPF!
why does this remind me of longchamp? longchamp tried to make a structured, triangular version of their famous pliage bag. didnt succeed...

I was just looking (with shock) at the prices that seller has their new bags listed at on Ebay....The majority of current-season bags are in the $5000-$6000 range! IDK what fantasy land they're living in, but good luck getting even half that!
There is an eBay seller (from Japan I believe) who is selling a bunch of these .. but the prices are ~ $4k to $5k .. HUH???? I love this style but NO WAY would I buy a Bal bag at that price (unless it's a 'real' Croc - but even then, I can't afford squat now)!!
Balenciaga's calfskin is dreamy, but i don't have any of these, let's call @Pollie-Jean she has scored one recently
It's just a stiff, rigid Midday - my fave silhouette from back in the day.
I could do without the visible branding on the front (unnecessary, IMO), but I'd be interested to see it done in suede in a nice, rich, deep forest green or wine colour.
I like it, but then again, I like stiff.
