Have you ever had an issue with Pickpockets and bags that don’t zip?

Having to live an hour from LA, their been too much phenomenon of people looting businesses in high end areas, they are even targeting people who dress to the nines, wearing anything expensive. I have been iffy of wearing LV or anything that would pertain “I am rich” when I am not. So far I felt fine in LA just like before the crazyness happened.

I know of two incidents where a wallet was stolen from a securely zipped purse. One of those incidents was my own

I always travel with the NF GM. However, I tuck a scarf over the contents, and there is always the option of zipping your wallet into the pocket in the bag. I carry it in front of me when in line or in crowds. Never had an issue. I am pretty vigilant about my bags though. Stuff happens.

If I'm not completely sure of my surroundings, it's Pacsafe for me. It's all I carry when traveling in an unfamiliar city, or if I anticipate having to do any walking after dark.
