Just remember, this is Minoxidil a.k.a. Rogaine for your eyelashes. So, it would be a longterm product commitment. Those new long lashes will fall out as soon as you stop using the product.

No big deal for some. At $150 per/unit, it may become too expensive to maintain.

Neiman Marcus is having a beauty event right now: Buy one Neulash, get one free. I don't know when it ends, but I stocked up on Friday. I've been using this product for about 6 weeks now and I think there has been some length. I wish I had a before photo, but here is a photo of my lashes with one coat of mascara. It's longer than before. I usually have short, stumpy asian lashes. This was taken with my Mac hahaa. Thanks for letting me share.

I'm still using this product and everyone is noticing how long they are, WITHOUT mascara. I just curl in the morning and out the door I go!

However, I'm afraid of long term effects-- are there any negative reviews or risks that are associated with NeuLash?

I found that the second active ingredient is Isopropyl Cloprostenate, which was used in a product called Rapid Lash. Here is what I found about the product with this link:
Rapid Lash Eyelash Renewal Serum is the latest in the procession of eyelash renewal products to include harmful chemicals to help produce the desired effects.

Prostaglandins like Cloprostenate are used in drugs that treat glaucoma. The effect on the eyelashes was first noticed when glaucoma patients started developing full, bushy and elongated lashes - an effect eventually tied to Cloprostenate.

After a few products came out with the substance, many people using the products started to experience side effects such as:

* Eye irritation
* Loss of vision
* Eye-Color change (as drastic as blue to brown)

The ingredient contained in Rapid Lash is a slightly altered version of the harmful chemical that caused a stir not long ago - the new compound is Isopropyl Cloprostenate. Is the chemical difference enough to deter the harmful side effects that are associated with the other form of the compound?

Rapid Lash is still conducting an independent trial to find out how harmful their product can be - it may be smart to wait to buy until the results of those trials are released.

Soo... any input is useful! I'm going to finish the one I'm still using and then probably stop using it for a while to see what happens.

Wow, I can't tell you how excited I was to try this product after all the amazing reviews! I always joked with my friends that I would be the ONE person to have a bad reaction to any medicine, and go figure! I had a very light greenish/blue eye color and after 2 days of use, my eyes are more of a dark greenish/brown, but worse, my eyes are so dark around them that I look like a drug addict, ugh! I am praying that this goes away! I only used it for 2 days, and haven't used it for 3 days, and my eyes are still the same color and the darker coloring around my eyes is still there as well. So YES, this product could cause your eyes to change color and change the pigment color of your skin around them.
I would highly recommend speaking to a doctor before you try this.

I was sceptical but did buy some through a friend from Europe and persisted with the dry and gritty eyes for 6 weeks... BUT after that the results were amazing!!! I now use it every second day to maintain the length and dont wear any mascara, I just curl them! I was surprised and still am... hopefully Ill be able to afford some more when I run out... I think it cost me $250 Aussie...OUCH... but worth it!:yahoo:
