LOL! Yes!! I don't regret getting my 31mm Rolex w/diamond bezel because the 36mm diamond bezel looked ridiculous on me, but I wished Rolex made it in 33mm!! Ha! I do love my watch and it is so beautiful I cannot allow myself to go there! If I bought another Rolex, without a diamond bezel, I'd get a 36mm...but if I bought a BB I'd get a 33mm as my wrists are tiny'

I went to Cartier yesterday to put my mind at ease about my 33mm...I'm 75% of the way there that I got the right size. The 36mm is gorgeous but I wasn't expecting the band to also be quite a bit wider and thicker. It looked great on the watch with the Roman numerals, but on mine with the diamond markers, the proportions seemed off. Also it's quite a bit heavier (especially top heavy). I like my watches a little loose so I can imagine it would turn over all the time. I asked the SA to put each size on her wrist as she was about the same size as me. The 33mm certainly didn't look small...not the way I envision it in my mind.

I only wear small watches - my wrists are tiny and anything larger would weigh my arm down! I also recently have been reaching for my leather band watches in the morning; they just feel more comfortable on my skin and also, the weight factor. I love the size for me, it's perfect on a petite frame and also doesn't draw too much attention to my watch, since I don't wear a luxury watch (I guess the most expensive watch I own is the small museum movado, which I got for a great deal at the outlet).

When the white J12 started becoming popular way back when, I got the 33mm. I have a small wrist and everyone at the Chanel boutique told me that the 38mm was too big. Then (after the return period was up) I saw pictures of tPFers and celebs sporting the 38mm and I felt tormented. Lol. I ended up selling my 33 (at a huge loss) and getting the 38. Silly, silly.

ImageUploadedByPurseForum1451318507.349755.jpg I originally wore the midsize steel Ballon Bleu (a la Kate M[emoji7]) but really missed the date function and an automatic movement, so moved to the larger size pictured here. Can't live without date function and ever since owning Rolexes, don't like quartz as much! (Though I definitely make an exception for the classic Cartier Tank Louis!) Saw a neighbor yesterday with a lovely black Patek Aquanaut set with diamonds and am now dreaming about that one...but I think she had the quartz version....first world problems, to be sure! Love of watches is an obsession from which I suffer...

I think the 33 will be able to be worn indefinitely, whereas I think the oversized watches will go out of style. I have the medium Tank, and if I get a BB, it will definitely be the 33! A mid-size is great even if styles swing to smaller watches or back to large. Glad you are feeling better about your 33!

At this point I'm past the return window and I'm wearing and loving my 33mm. I would love the 36 with Roman numerals for more casual occasions but I would probably never buy two watches that similar. I realized that I love the "cuff" look that comes with a bigger/thicker watch band but I can get get that look by adding a thick bracelet to my right wrist. Now I just need to research my next jewelry piece...

I'm 5'7 and a small build but i wear a 42mm BB which is actually a mens size, the watch face is literally the size of my wrist. i've worn it for 5 years and i think this watch is stunning in any size.
