Has anyone ordered from Bergdorf Goodman?

I just got my package yesterday for a boy that I ordered from BG and was so disappointed. My didn't come with the original box or the original price tag from Chanel, it was just a price tag from BG. They didn't even include the original receipt. I mean they email me my electronic receipt but I still want my orginal receipt. I'm thinking of return it.

Yours did not come in Chanel box?? It was just in a dust bag and mail box?? That's how my WOC came from NM and I was sad.

I got two bags from bergdorf NYC. Both were packaged well with ribbon, camelia, dust back, booklet and magnetic chanel box. I exchanged the first medium classic to the second jumbo. The SA was helpful at first. I was happy with the packaging but the authencitiy card in the classic jumbo bag didn't match the number in side the bag. I called the SA and he lied and said that numbers don't match because the numbers on the card tells where I bought the bag and the number inside the bag is the serial number. I was disgusted at his BS. I called the chanel boutique just to confirm. Chanel says the numbers should match. I told him I want to exchange to a different bag. He says he will check if he can get a new card made. Did anyone have similar experience?

I've had many good shopping experiences with BG. I even had one the opposite as you. I wanted a particular small leather good, and at first she could not find the card that went with it. I didn't care, I wanted the item, but was told they could not sell it without it. Luckily she hunted around and found it. I know things can sometimes get mixed up, but there's no excuse for lying about it. Perhaps your SA was new and honestly didn't know?

True. Maybe he was new, and sort of made it up because he didn't know how to explain the difference. He later called me and said he talked to the manager, and maybe the card got mixed up from another bag. It could have been a lot better if he told me that from the beginning because things do get mixed up sometimes. He said I can exchange it once they get a new shipment of jumbo. I was just annoyed about his lack of knowledge for the product he sells, and the nonchalant attitude that it's totally cool to sell product that is not in it's original condition. Maybe I am guilty of being super picky. Once they do the exchange, they can re-sell the bag with wrong card to someone who doesn't care so it will all work out for everyone.
