The visit is because they were invited by Colombia's Vice President Francia Márquez who also serves as Colombia's Minister for Equality and Equity. The visit to Colombia much like Nigeria's visit in my opinion puts a spotlight on the positive things the country does rather than the stereotypical images put out there by the media.
